I had a visit at this wonderful place on 12÷14÷15 and I was seen by Dr. Justin Boyd. I can just say he is great very great listener understands what I am going through and very throughout. I would definitely go back to him any day. he is quick as well which always help the situation

I fell and injured my wrist skiing in February. 6 weeks later pain persisted and I saw hand surgeon, had MRI and was diagnosed with partial tear of RSC ligament and was recommended surgical repair to improve my pain and get me back to playing tennis. 2 nd opinion recommended PT instead. Dr L. treated me with 6 session of shock wave therapy in addition to electrical stimulation, laser and kinesiotaping. 3 weeks later I was playing tennis and 2 weeks later was pain free completely. Was fine for 6 months until I developed a golfer’s elbow. I previously nursed tennis elbow for 2 years and was not able to play for months at a time. After 3 sessions of shock wave therapy I was back on the court. Bottom Line, Dr. Lipnitsky is very competent, his approach is individualized for each patient and problem, office is equipped with latest technology and modern treatment modalities. It is clearly a place where one will get better if at all possible.

I never write reviews but I think my recent experience at this place necessitates a reality check on some of the other comments posted here. Here are the facts:
1) There is nothing amazing about the office. It is a regular doctors shack with reasonably friendly staff.
2) Appointment was scheduled for 2pm but it took (a) 15 minutes to fill up their 10 page new patient form (b) another 10 minutes for prelim questions with the med assistant © another 25 minutes sitting and waiting for the doctor (d) finally…50 minutes after the initial appointment time, I get a doctor to do a 5 minute rushed exam
Overall, given the number of highly Unilocal rated chiropractors in the city, I see no reason to pick one with any bad reviews.

I was a little apprehensive about my visit to the chiro, but recurring back problems led me to check this place out. I was happy with the service I received — the doctor explained everything he did as he did it, why he was doing it, and talked me through everything, telling me beforehand if I might feel some discomfort and that I should tell him if it hurt at all. After he was done, he showed me exercises to do to strengthen my back and to decrease discomfort going forward, to encourage certain muscles to work harder and discourage others from working so hard. It was totally worth the visit.

I’m a woman of a certain age and according to the text books I’ve been reading for school, most of my body systems are progressively slowing down; my immune system is a bit faulty, my muscles are struggling, and my bone cells are no longer rebuilding. In an effort to make sure that I am not a complete hypochondriac, I decided to go check out Dr. Liptinsky at Pain Physicians.
Although working in the healthcare field for several years, I have always been a bit wary of chiropractors. I’ve heard tales of people getting their backs cracked and becoming addicted from the relief. In the words of the late, great Whitney Houston, «Crack is Whack.» Upon entering the Manhattan office (they also have one in Brooklyn) I quickly scanned the room and wondered what type of service I would be provided. The waiting room is quite nice with wooden floors and chandeliers interlaced throughout the area. My immediate thought was «Oh boy, bring on the hoity toity.» After checking in, Dr. L popped into the lobby after about five minutes and introduced himself. From that point on I received nothing but outstanding service.
He completed a thorough health history and focused assessment on my major problem (lower back pain). Though I am pretty familiar with some of the health terminology, he used great laymen terminology throughout the consult.
So on to the back business, he first started off with a machine that provided some electrical muscle stimulation for about 15 minutes. It felt like little prickles all over my body. Having never done this before, it was definitely an awkward sensation but once I relaxed it was great. Dr. L then went on to perform some manual maneuvers since I had spasms and tightness in my muscles. While he did his magic we chatted about families, jobs etc. He’s incredibly personable.
During the health history he asked about some of the exercises I did and then he demonstrated proper techniques to strengthen my core which will help with some of my lower back issues.
It was a fantastic evaluation and consult. I left feeling that he provided me with some tools that I can use independently without having to rely on his services since I do not have acute or chronic pain. The office takes most major insurances. Overall it was a great first trip to the chiropractor.

I came here for a sports-​related neck injury. The office is beautifully outfitted with the latest rehab equipment. The staff is nice and Dr. Lipnitsky is awesome — he listened to my story and provided excellent therapy. I felt much better after just one appointment with him. He has a wonderful reputation and the reason became quite apparent. As a recent Columbia medical school grad, I would strongly recommend this place.

All I can say is WOW… thank God I found this place! I’ve worked at a desk for 60 hours a week for the past 10 years, and it really started to take a toll on my back just this year. Through a good recommendation from a buddy of mine, I went to go see Dr. L and I am finally starting to be able to sleep at night again. Bravo Dr. L!

Dr. L is Amazing!
To put it bluntly, I have been in a couple of scuffles, accidents etc in my life.
Needless to say, I have chronic neck pain.
Thank God for Dr. Lipintisky!
He should be made a saint!

After a years in boxing I began suffering from excruciating back and shoulder pain. No matter what I tried my shoulder ached. My last resort before seeing a surgeon was to start treating with Doctor Lipnitsky and boy am I happy I did. Dr. L has amazing expertise in how to deal with athletic related injuries and knew exactly how to start my healing process. He has helped me to regain strength and mobility in my shoulder and I am even able to swim again to keep in shape! I love Pain Physicians NY! Chris
