It’s a really nice addition to the neighborhood. A quiet and friendly spot. The coffee is not the best but decent. Love to have a place like this in this neighborhood. The people who work here are extremely nice. Love their cortado! Definitely a place to visit for coffee.

I(finally) went there today — with a friend, in the late morning — and fortunately we had no problem getting seating, as it’s a tiny place. It’s attractive, with exposed brick walls. There was music playing continually, but it wasn’t too terribly loud. The young woman working there was very pleasant. I got a small regular coffee($ 1.75), but it was just«fair». However; all other aspects were fine, including an «A» rating from the Health Department(also, my friend told me the restroom was very clean) and I’m grateful to have a coffee house in our neighborhood.

So fortunate to have this place in the neighborhood. Hands down some of the best coffee and espresso based drinks in the city. I am partial to Ceci cela pastries – not Balthazar, so I am thankful for this offering– chocolate almond croissant anyone? That being said, variety is limited here. I hope they will soon be able to provide similar offerings as their sister store in alphabet city.(beer, wine, Nutella cookies, etc.)

Did some work at this café today. It’s a relaxed atmosphere and its cozy and quaint. Good light during the day and a relaxed vibe from the baristas to the clientele. The coffee was good and the pastries looked good, but I didn’t try one. There is not a ton of seating. But it’s cute and cozy and I would return.

Another brilliant addition to my hood! This place is absolutely adorable. The décor is warm and the exposed brick is a nice touch. There’s always, ALWAYS good music on in the background which really does matter to me. You’re setting a mood and they do it well. It’s clean and the staff is kind and efficient. I appreciate that they carry both soy and almond milk. My go-to beverage is their iced cappuccino. Excellent flavor and a fair dose of caffeine for this addict. Nice job guys! Thanks for bringing some life to my end of Grand Street.

Coffee great. Pastries great. Everyone here is always accommodating and friendly… Plus, it’s maybe the only place to hang out in the neighborhood. Not bustling like the East Village one, but like a quiet oasis.

Fantastic coffee spot — such a great addition to the neighborhood. Warm and friendly owner and the baristas are great. Wish they could add more table seating and serve more food, but overall I am just so happy to have this place in the neighborhood

So I saw that this little café was opening up a few months ago, and I stopped in. The place is cozy, nice vibe, the staff up front are so friendly, courteous, my java was right on point. My daughters were happily surprised when they saw that their hot chocolate also was decorated with foam just lime my cappuccino. I have brought colleagues from work here to check it out and they also have been pleasantly surprised. We needed a spot like this. The only recommendation I would make is to possibly figure out more seating. I have visited a few times, and have not been able to sit and enjoy. I guess the word is out! They have treats as well that go nicely with your beverage. I also think they could have a larger display with more selections for treats to have with your beverage. Otherwise, Great addition to my neighborhood!

Great coffee! I’ve never been to their original café but this 2nd location is located along my route if I’m walking from my admin building to one of my sites for work. So it’s handy. And of course, they make some great cold brew coffee. Perfect for warm days!

I love this place! The coffee is great, the ambiance is relaxing, and the service is good. It’s a much needed addition to the area and I hope they stay put for a long long time. It’s worth the walk over here to get a delicious cappuccino. Go get a donut a Doughnut Plant then head east for a great cup of coffee.

I sincerely hope they make it. Out in the hinterlands, it is a trek to get here, and I don’t think it’s a destination. Coffee is good, and coffee bar looks great. But it is lacking in ambience. Seating is arranged awkwardly. There are plenty of magazines to read if you want to linger, but I wanted to go. Pastries or something to munch would keep folks in here. One month old and let’s hope the kinks get all sorted soon.

A beautiful little room with exposed brick engulfing the senses. The perfect atmosphere for sitting with a book for an hour or two over a coffee.
