The good: food is outstanding and I think that the lunch dine in special of 50% off your bill adds to the appeal of this restaurant. The naan itself is perfectly crisp and fluffy. It may be the best naan I’ve had. The saag was remarkable because you could see that it was chopped spinach instead of a gross purée. The lamb vindaloo was tender and spicy. The bad(hope they use this criticism to install a storefront wind blocker): it’s tough to give a place a negative review because of the restaurant itself. Judge a restaurant based on it’s food. Back to business — the restaurant itself is really, really small. It can maybe fit 10 people at most. The restaurant has a bad entrance, you’re literally at the tables as soon as you open the door and there’s no barrier from the elements outside, which made for a very uncomfortable dining experience. I stayed because the restaurant was at capacity so I knew the food would be good, and it truly was. I don’t know that I’d do dinner, because it’s quite pricey for the portion, but it’s a good lunch spot if you’re walking by.

Amazing food, friendly staff, very small and cozy place. I had such great vibes in this place maybe because it was simple yet nicely decorated in a small space. The waiter, looking like owner or manager, came over to our table and started a conversation. He really his time and priority to each customer, rather than favoring one table. Although the food was great, I felt it would be same amount of food given to one person as he did to two but I was more than full and extremely satisfied. I would definitely recommend and go back.

Amazing food!!! We had the butter chicken(omg so good), curry chicken(also incredible) and the chickpea masala(my favorite). Then for dessert we had these donut-like things that were warm and covered in honey and probably the best dessert I could have imagined eating after this meal. The owner was so sweet. He took us through the menu, brought us tastes of other things we were contemplating so we could try everything and really went above and beyond. You can also tell how much he loves his restaurant– it’s small, but the attention to detail is beautiful. Super cozy and lovely. And the price! If you’re in Soho and want — truly– an AMAZING meal without spending too much, definitely come here!

Amazing Indian food! Honestly the best Indian I have had in New York City and I have had some awesome home cooked Indian food. The food comes out hot, fresh, and so aromatic — very traditional and authentic. Minaj, the owner, is so jovial and kind and will help you find a great entrée from the extensive menu. The décor is sophisticated, cosy, and simple. After one time, I am in love with this place. Definitly, coming here again!

It’s a brand new place, small and cozy. And, the food is very tasty. Fast friendly service. They have a great lunch special between 12 – 2:45 pm. It’s 50% off the entire bill when you order an entrée I believe, but dine in only. I’ve had the Lamb Korma, Butter chicken and I think it was called the Fish Tandoori so far, which I enjoyed. The mango chutney taste great with the sweet bread nan especially if your ordering something on the spicy side to give your taste buds a balance. All and all great place to check out.

I’ve walked by OM numerous times within the past few months — the«Indian Food Coming Soon» sign mocking me every single time. Finally, Om opened up and I finally got to eat at the restaurant that’s been promising Indian food within a 5 minute walk from my office. They offer 50% off lunch dine in, so definitely try to eat-in if you can spare the time. It’s a great deal. I stepped in by myself on a weekday afternoon and snagged the last table in the place. It’s pretty small with only 5 tables for 2 and 1 larger table for 4 people. I ordered the Butter Chicken, my standard go-to for Indian food. It was flavorful and tasty — the sauce great for soaking my naan. But the chicken quality was so-so. I feel like I’ve had better chicken elsewhere. It’s a bit expensive for take out — $ 16 for their lunch special that comes with an appetizer, an entrée, and naan + rice. Butter Chicken isn’t part of the lunch special menu, which is probably why I’m not a huge fan of it.
