Excellent friendly shop. Little pricey but you can’t find theses items anywhere in NYC

Great place, a little pricey but worth it. Can get lost in their store for hours.

My husband and I were enchanted by this shop(my husband even more than I was). He’s really into woodworking and got to talk shop with one of the women who works there about hand-crafted tables that they carry; I got to find cool vintage letters and signs. They had a range of items, including a mid-century chair that I loved(didn’t look closely enough to see if it was a knock-off or not). I wish we had gotten to stay longer, but I was having a bit of heat exhaustion and felt sick. It’s definitely a store you could lose a lot of time in if you like architectural salvage.

This is a great place to find salvaged treasures… I am thankful places like this exist to save architectural treasures from being destroyed and lost forever. They have several stores in New York … But also a great shop in Los Angeles and they sell at the Alameda flea market… And you can shop online.

A magical spot where you can discover where time stood still. So lucky its in my neighborhood now. Many of their items are special in their own right, I would just be careful with some of the pricing that’s marked.

There are some really awesome things in this store. It’s not a place you go into and say, okay I want this. This is a place you go, and say, ok, now that I can use, or it’d work here, etc. They do make tables custom though, so you can take my prior comment with a grain of salt. Each location is different. I bought an old magazine with Lenin on it, as living on the island, nothing really would have transported well. The prices are NOT cheap, but, they seem to be negotiable. Lots of reclaimed wood.

Didn’t buy anything here, but had a blast looking around. If only we owned our home to decorate it with the excellent fittings and findings here!

I haven’t actually been in the brick and mortar store, but I did come across their booth at the Brooklyn Flea. While walking through the flea, I was blown away by a stunning antique tin frame mirror. Unfortunately it was too pricey for my budget. The gentleman helping me said he had one similar on the truck that was more in my price range. He took me out to see it and I was sold. They even delivered it a few hours later after they closed up at the flea for no charge. It was greatly appreciated since I would not have been able to handle getting an 8ft x 4ft mirror up the stairs to my apartment. I would have given 5 stars, except their items are quite pricey. But worth the bucks.

I love this place to pieces. Unlike some other similar stores(see my review of Demolition Depot), the inventory is really large but also seems somehow more curated. You will not find any true crap here, just wonderful antique objects and architectural elements. It is all diamonds and no rough. Most items are not tagged with prices(what is up with this annoying trend?) but you CAN find the prices easily on the website. No «Call for Price» BS like you encounter elsewhere. Also, the website has a «Make an Offer» button — 21st century haggling with no pressure. And I can say from experience that they are definitely willing to bargain. The prices are high, but they are not ludicrous. I got two pairs of solid hardwood doors here in the 9 foot tall range with amazing details and priceless patina, and the cost was roughly three times the cost per door of standard 7 foot pine doors from Home Depot. Their reclaimed wood farm tables are comparable in price to Restoration Hardware. Again, not cheap but not crazy expensive.

We bought nothing but this boutique is really magic. On 3 floors, you can discover very nice things. I particularly appreciated the mirrors.

Maybe right now I don’t need the 6 foot high chandelier for my 10 foot high dining room, but who knows. What I do know is it’s fun to walk around here and try and find something I could use, even if I can’t afford it.

An inspiring place for anybody who cares about aesthetics, and a painful torture chamber for anyone decorating on a budget. The style is warm but never corny, so this antique/salvage shop makes for great browsing. A great selection of neat things made out of metal, like old tin ceiling tiles. Almost nothing has price tags, so be prepared to ask about everything, which can be a bit embarassing. However, if you have $ 30 to spend on a gorgeous brass doorknob, this is definitely the place to do it.
