Seriously, don’t go here. When they say your laundry will be ready at 5, they really mean 630 and they’re totally unapologetic.

I only get my alterations done by Mr. Oh, he is the only person I trust with shortening my dresses and jeans. I have since moved from the upper east side but continue to travel there from the west village since I have had alternations ruin my brand new dresses done by other tailers. He has been my tailer for 10 years now :)

Please skip this establishment. I just had a coat zipper alteration at Oh’s. The zipper replaced was not only considerably shorter than the original one, but obviously of inferior quality, as it broke 2 weeks later rendering the coat completely useless. When I took it back with the reasonable expectation of a full guarantee, the man offered me a discount and when I explained the reason why I thought his work should be guaranteed, a woman in the back kept gesticulating to him saying, «this is not your problem». Karma…

We’ve used Oh’s Crystal Cleaners for our dry cleaning and alterations needs for the past two years. Mr. Oh is very friendly and the service is quick. Prices are comparable to the other two Manhattan cleaners we’ve tried, but the convenience, quality and customer service makes Mr. Oh our guy!
