I pop in about once a summer to look at their used hats, and have lucked out with some gorgeous finds. Yesterday, I got a vintage black straw hat with a cute red and white silk flower, and a beautiful organza shirtwaist dress(with some ripped seams, which I can fix) for a total of $ 53! I tend to prefer the selection in the consignment section, as there is more to look through. There are a lot of vintage hidden treasures. Be sure to check the sign so you see how much % off each color tag is in the used section!

Came to see what this store had to offer last weekend on a Sunday morning. I found a few cool pieces but nothing I was over the moon for. Most of the stuff like previous reviewers here mentioned was a bit gaudy for a lack of a better word… Flamboyant maybe? A little matronly too… The lady behind the counter didn’t even acknowledge me when I walked in. Busy chatting it up with someone else.

When my friend and I walked into the store, we were warmly welcomed by a very well dressed woman who looked like she stepped out of an MGM movie. She encouraged us to browse and try on some of the wonderful one a kind things in her store. There are beautiful hats, scarves, jewelry and all kinds of clothing for women of all sizes. Yes, there are things that might be considered gaudy to some, but to each her own. A young woman with a very close cropped cut behind the counter kept pulling out things that she thought we would like and she was right every time. In the back is a consignment shop with even more interesting things. When you buy something here, it’s unlikely that anyone else will have it. This boutique is not cheap but there are a lot items you will find you simply MUST have. My friend bought a pair of oversize round sunglasses and two amazing hats for good prices(and we are not rich by any means!). Though this place looks intimidating, venture in and see what you can find. And DO chat up the owner(Lynn Dell). You probably won’t meet anyone like her again and she is quite the fabulous grand lady. She’s featured in a book she sells called«Advanced Style». My treasure hunt didn’t turn up anything, but I do intend to go back and see what else comes in.

Don’t waste your time. This store has some nice and some not nice and some very gaudy things. The prices are ridiculous and the store owner is not a very nice person. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to be treated like a customer should expect to be treated.
