Oaxaca’a food is pretty good. Portions are on the small side. The enchiladas were dry. The workers were somewhat unfriendly. The salsas are really good. The potato and rajas filling is very flavorful and cool, because you don’t find that on menus too often. The restaurant’s signage is lacking.

The food is fantastic. The only downside is that jalapenos and guac are $ 0.50 each per taco, which adds up. It’s like $ 13-$ 15 for 3 tacos with jalapenos and guac.

Greasy quesadilla. I think I waited too long to eat it; it was cold and too soggy

Tried a carnitas burrito for lunch there today, and it was big and good. The wrap job was bush league, but it’s a new place and I’m sure the staff will get the hang of it. I like the pickled red onions and it’s cool that they put them on just about everything. They’re a nice sour counterpoint to a rich burrito. They have four or five hot sauces to choose from, with little to-go containers. Nice touch. The prices are lower than you’d expect. I’m going to come back.

So disappointing. I have been waiting for this to open and am very depressed. Everything was cold though I live in the same building. I ordered sour cream on the side and salsa is included but I got neither. The red onions were blah. Meat was okay but nothing to rave about. I thought this would be a place I would frequent often, but I won’t go again.

Opening day, I was the second customer! So glad to finally have Oaxaca Taqueria near my apartment for when I want fresh, flavorful, authentic, affordable Mexican! I really love the enchiladas with mole, and my favorite meats are al pastor & carnitas. Although the rice and beans are better at the nearby Tacos Morelos truck, and the burritos are bigger at nearby Dos Toros, what Oaxaca Taqueria has in its favor are it’s boldness, low-prices, and late-hours.

Pretty bomb place. I got a chicken burrito with sour cream on the side and a tamarind jarritos to wash it all down. The burrito I had was really good and perfectly portioned for one, or one and a half. I was told that this place JUST opened. Sweet! Hope to visit this joint again in other locations. Didn’t try the horchata but I’ll try it soon. *thumbs up* Oh and the people who work there are super friendly :)
