NYC FootCare

There are more reviews in zocdoc which says that the average wait time is fairly long. Seeing as the other metrics were decent, I decided to give this place a try. 40 minutes after my appointment start time I’m still waiting. Their excuse is that they schedule back to back appointments– the thought quality over quantity comes to mind– that’s a terrible excuse.

I feel compelled to review based on the below negative review, which is the exact opposite of my own experience. In fact, I am not sure how that negative review could even exist. The front desk staff have always been nice to me. I never had a problem making a change in my appointment, cancelling and setting up a new time due to my busy schedule at work, or paying my co-​pay. There is no cancellation fee either. As for the value of the medical care at NYC footcare, for me it was top notch. I had been with a different podiatrist for two years who just made things worse, and three months with Dr. Powerman at NYC Footcare and it was a completely different world. She was very caring and competent and used more up-​to-​date treatment modalities which actually addressed and treated my problem. In the case of a recurrence of my own foot problems, I will be going back to NYC footcare for further treatment.

Great medspa. Doctor was very experienced and great bed-​side manner. Would definitely recommend this establishment to others

Never ever purchase medical services from GROUPON! I should have known better.
Front desk staff was incompetent, rude and fouled my appointment time with no apology. I do not take kindly to such treatment. Trust me: DON’T spend your money here.
