I had a pot of Jasmin tea, an eel roll, and their signature Norikoh Ramen all of which were pretty good. Ramen I love ramen and udon and I would say this is decent. Their broth is flavorful but the ingredients that go into the pot bring the rest of the soup to a more mediocre level. If they just put some more fresh ingredients, I’m looking at you bamboo shoots, this would be a very very good ramen. Sushi Sushi is good not great. I only had one roll but I was satisfied and for the price it’s definitely worth it. Service I will say though that the service is great, and the staff is very friendly. Overall I’d come back if I’m in the neighborhood but it’s not something I would go out of my way for.

Good ramen, and reasonable prices, especially for a part of town devoid of good restaurants. Their yakitori was good, especially when on offer from Unilocal check in.

I’ve been to this joint a couple of times out of convenience. The food has always been OK but the last time I went I found the service to be less than satisfactory. I asked the waiter for the dish with the most vegetables in it and he had to ask someone else.(The resulting dish had a few scallions in it, very few vegetables). The table was wobbly and the food took forever to get to our table. We gave $ 40 for a $ 35 bill and they didn’t give us the change. If they had they would’ve received a larger tip but it was making me late for other arrangements so I had to leave. Unimpressed.

I would’ve given them 1 star, had they not offered to make-up for destroying our lunch plan. The boss took our group out for my(belated) birthday lunch. Reservations were made and we were promptly seated upstairs upon arrival. The place had a relatively modern-chic atmosphere, and seemed generally clean. The upstairs resembles a cave, with low ceilings and fake stone decorations throughout. It started to go downhill when an hour had passed and there was still no sign of our food. Our waiter never came to check on us and my boss finally got fed up, angrily walked downstairs, and started yelling towards the kitchen(apparently, our waiter acted like he was going towards the kitchen upon seeing my boss coming downstairs). This was already after we had told a different waiter that we had been waiting for too long, and that we were about to leave. Who has time, on a Monday, to take out over 1.5 hours to get their meals at a non-upscale Asian fusion restaurant? I was so turned off. When the food finally arrived, I wasn’t excited either. I asked for the spicy tuna roll at $ 1.50 extra to my chicken terriyaki bento box. The chicken was inedible. It was SOOOO dry. The watered down dressing was also not flavorful and clearly was completely separated from the chicken. Ugh. The vegetable tempura was cold and was completely soggy. Even the rice wasn’t good — very very dry. HOWDOYOUMESSUPRICEATANASIANRESTAURANT? I heard that the Norikoh ramen wasn’t that great either — the broth was also white, with the eggs completely cooked. um, why name a very mediocre ramen after your restaurant… oh, that’s right, because it represents how mediocre this place is. After my boss complained, the manager came up to our table and offered a $ 25 gift card. She was apologetic and told us that one of the chefs weren’t in. We appreciated the gesture. They also came out with a birthday tempura ice cream cake, topped with a lit candle and sang HBD to me — ’twas a bit embarrassing. I blew out the candle the moment it landed in front of my face. Everyone had a piece but myself, as I’m lactose AND gluten intolerant. While their apologies were accepted, I can’t say that the food was good enough to return either. BUT, since I do have that gift card… hm… maybe another lunch someday. I simply can’t do another 2-hour lunch though. It’s excruciating when you’re hangry.

Stopped here for lunch, I was satisfied. Service was spot on because there were only three of us in the entire restaurant. I ordered the tan tan ramen, and it came out in 10mins or less, perfect timing if you need to dash back to the office. I enjoyed it, but it can use more spice or salt to enhance the flavor. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth the price. I paid $ 16+ total, which is a bit too expensive for ramen that’s not Ippudo or Momofuku. The restaurant should offer a ramen lunch deal, for $ 12 — just saying. I’d probably revisit in the future because, sadly, it’s the only ramen in the area, but it won’t be a frequent lunch spot for me.

I ordered Norikoh Ramen and Kirin beer. I normally take pictures of Reman if it is appealing. But it appears the way different from the menu photos. I couldn’t find that small piece of the pork and the egg is fully cooked(it’s a no no. A ramen egg should be soft cooked and the yolk part should be never fully cooked!) And they put pickled ginger in the reman which is for sushi not reman! I have to pick up all ginger and put them aside. To be fair, the ramen description on menu does have pink ginger and boiled egg but they’re not for ramen! Also, the poor amount of scallion didn’t enrich the taste of broth. Other than that, the pork broth is amazing which isn’t overly salty. I think that the broth is better than Ippudo.(Tranditional pork broth raman is very salty and make you wonder salt is free) The pork is cooked with rich flavor! Love it. I believe the business is ran by Chinese so they modify the taste of the broth. The staff who gave me service was pleasant but a lady gave me the check was in a hurry and not so pleasant. The free thing wasn’t so good. I didn’t really understand the deal of the free thing and the waitress didnt really know what were avl to order. As the result I ordered tofu which came with one piece of plain tofu with sweat soy sauce. I would suggest my freinds to go and myself would revisit if I happen around the area.

First time here — great food and great service. Very good choices of creative rolls and very fresh. We are very tough critics on sushi and we both loved this place! Will be back soon!

After searching for Ramen on Unilocal, this little gem popped up. Located a block away from Bryant Park and in walking distance from my job, I decided I’d give this place a try. I am soooo glad I did. I went during lunch time on a weekday and was seated right away. I ordered the Shoyu ramen, which was one of the more basic ramen noodle options on the menu. It was a chicken based broth with pork, scallions, bamboo shoots, and seaweed. It was light, hearty, and flavorful. The noodles were also cooked perfectly. The place was chill and seemed like a good happy hour place to just chill and sip with friends. This place has a lot of variety on the menu. There was many sushi, ramen noodle, bento box, and yakitori options. The staff was friendly and attentive as well. One major pro was when I checked in through Unilocal,I received two complimentary yakitori skewers just for checking in. That was a nice unexpected addition to my meal. I ordered the New York strip and the chicken satay. Both were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I will definitely be back for lunch or happy hour in the future.

A brand new Asian fusion restaurant in midtown. They have sushi, ramen and some traditional Chinese noodles. We tried the Beef noodle soup and dragon sushi. The staff were very friendly. The sushi was great. BUT! The beef noodle soup made me really disappointed. Only three beef in the broth which is not that tasty. The bok choy was over cooked. Not worth for $ 15 at all.

Came here for lunch and made a reservation. My coworker and I were taken upstairs and I’m not sure if the ventilation was broken but it was stuffy up there. It took a little while to get water and service but it seemed pretty busy. We ordered the bbq ribeye buns as an appetizer and I got the tan tan men while my coworker got the yakisoba. We also got lychee martinis from the drink menu. The BBQ rib eye buns were just okay but the tan tan men was tasty especially the broth. My coworker liked his yakisoba but he thought it would actually have soba noodles(instead it looked like fried ramen noodle). The lychee martinis were actually pretty good too, they weren’t too strong or too sweet. Next time I’ll come back and try the yakitori and sushi.

I was craving ramen and searched on Unilocal, and I couldn’t believe there was a decently rated ramen place literally one block away from me! I ordered the Norikoh ramen and my boyfriend got his tan tan men. We thoroughly enjoyed our ramen; the broth was flavorful but not too strong. The only thing is that the egg in the ramen was hard-boiled and I like eggs to be soft-boiled and runny. Service is quick and decent; it’s not packed full like many ramen shops on a Saturday night would be– maybe because it’s a bit more spacious. We also shared two yakitori skewers: the bacon asparagus had too much fat on the meat but the corn cob skewer was delicious! This place is a pan-Asian place with Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Thai dishes. But for the variety that often comes with restaurants trying to spread themselves too thin, the ramen was as tasty as it would’ve been at a ramen shop.

Excellent atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food and great drinks! Upon recommendation from my waiter, I tried the Norikoh roll which was exquisite and had the lychee martini which was also delish! I enjoyed my time dining here and will certainly be returning.

A block from Bryant Park, Norikoh is a must try! I came with a friend and we just caught the amazing happy hour(til 7PM). There are a variety of snack and drink options. I got a plum wine and my friend for a lychee martini. For food, we shared 4 rolls and got our own yakitori. If you check in on Unilocal, you can choose two distinct skewers for free! I really liked the sausage and shishito pepper skewer. What makes this meal 5 stars is my whole dinner with drinks came out to less than $ 20. In addition to the wide variety of food options and good prices, the atmosphere and décor is upscale. Would recommend for after work happy hours, dinner with a friend, or dates!

This is one of those places that makes me wish Unilocal had a 3.5 star rating. I’ll explain my recent experience and you can judge from there. Two things are immediately apparent: This is a nice looking place and the people are cheerful. From the host to the wait staff everyone had a positive attitude. And the ambiance is great; you can definitely take a client here. It was cold out, so I got the veggie ramen. I was excited that they actually listed it as «veggie» on the menu versus hiding it in the corner. For an extra $ 5 you can get six fat veggie gyozas. After ten minutes I found out they didn’t have the veggie gyoza. They offered the shrimp gyoza instead. I usually go veggie on Mondays, but what the heck – why not. The waitress came back five minutes later and said she couldn’t do it because it’s not included in the«set lunch.» I mentioned that she should include it since they didn’t have my original request, and she already put it out there. She didn’t agree, so I just cut out the gyozas entirely. My ramen came and it was a solid C. Maybe my expectations are low by so many bad ramen places. It was perfectly serviceable with a few mushrooms and edamame with some cabbage and a tiny bit of shredded tofu. The broth wasn’t exactly bland, but it tasted like straight up miso. For the price, I was hoping for a tiny bit more. Overall a positive experience with a few hiccups. I’ll definitely try again.

Was wir hier finden konnten.
