Got the lunch special, 2 plain slices plus a foundation drink for $ 5. Standard deal, you see it everywhere, but this was actually… good. Like, really good. Like, whoa. I was starved so I got a Hawaiian slice, too(three slices, I know) and the guy behind the counter(Nino?) warned me that I may get addicted to their Hawaiian. He was right. Some of the best pizza I’ve had in the city, cheap enough too. Yeah.

First call reply: okay the pizza is being cooked Second call: okay we will deliver in 10 min Third: We already delivered all the orders Fourth: No we dont have your order in our system. Do not order form this place. No pizza and wasted my time.

Came in here at 4am expecting something crappy, and was very pleasantly surprised. Nino’s is a decent pizza spot, though not the best. The pizza itself was solid, nice crispy bottom, good sauce and cheese. The only weakness here was really the quality of the toppings. The pepperoni on my slice was subpar, and it was very obvious. Because of the weak toppings, this is really a 3.5 star spot, but it gets the round up because it was freak’in serving decent pizza at 4am.

Not the best pizza but definitely satisfying for the quick hunger. Got 2 regular slices for $ 5.50 and there is nothing to complain about it.

Please, If you’re sober enough… walk the extra 2 minutes to another pizza place down the block. or, go to Crif Dogs a few stores down. I’ve very consistently had mediocre experiences at Nino’s Pizza and their price-per-slice is $ 4(technically, they do have different prices, but at some point in the 24⁄7 operational shift they just kind of stop caring and charge whatever) Basically, if you’re drunk enough, and hungry enough, you’ll pay — which is probably why they’re still in business. ++++it’s cash only The vibe is garish… Fluorescent to the max — you walk in and kind of get that feeling akin to emerging from your apartment, very hungover, for a Sunny Sunday Brunch and realizing you left your Sunglasses by your front door. The struggle is real here. I have to award stars, because ugly lights aside, sometimes I really just cant even wait another minute and I have to get food. It’s Warm, Cheeesy, and oh so crunchy(kind of just what you want before curling up for bed at 4am). Basically, if you’re reading this. you’re not standing outside, wasted, researching with the group on where to get your late-night fix. However, if you’re about to go out and for some reason proactively researching your«drunken-food emergency route» Don’t go here… 2 stars

The pizza here is ok, not terrible but certainly not the best either. The pizza is just good enough that I’ve come here several times to dine in and had no major complaints… about the food. The management/owner on the other hand is atrocious. The owner, my assumption is his name is Nino treats his employees terribly. I’ve been here at least a handful of times since I live in the area and on each of my visits I have witnessed him verbally denigrate his employees by talk down to them like they were idiots. The very last time he practically made the lady behind the counter cry with his insults. I’m not a soft touch but I overhead him say that ‘a retard and a handicap could do what she’s doing quicker’. Insulting much?! Mind you, she was perfectly lovely in temperament to me and treated the other patrons with the same speed and respect I was given. She was clearly nervous in front of him because he was so nasty. His treatment of his staff is so bad that I’ve noticed new people working behind the counter every single time I’ve come by, so he clearly has a high turnover rate. I get that working at a pizzeria isn’t a professional job on any level so there will always be turnover but truly the way he speaks and treats his staff is bordering on cruel and I’m sure that has much to do with that. The first two times I came, I brought my mother and she overhead him say something mean to his his staff and continue on in his tirade speaking loudly under his breath as he was spinning and rolling out more pizza dough. He’s mentioned on one occasion that his nephew works for him and called him lazy out loud. And boasted to someone that he has to work him hard to whip him into shape because he doesn’t pay for laziness. No self respecting small business owner would but his attitude was off putting — especially in front of paying customers. On my last visit, I brought my best friend and the owner was seriously mistreating his employee, the only other person he had on staff that afternoon. It made me and my friend uncomfortable to watch her receive what was a verbal brow beating. I vowed on that day to never patronized this restaurant again. So while the food was OK — I can’t in good conscious continue patronizing this restaurant when the owner is a douche and treats his employees every bit as terrible as I’ve described. PASS on this pizzeria. Don’t support this tyrant.

Horrible! The pizza is not good at all. The only way this place stays open is by being open when no one in the area is. If you have ANY other options(including Dominos and Papa John’s) take them!!! The only thing worse than the pizza is the customer service. I asked for ranch with my three slices of pizza. The guy said rudely, «Sure, I’ll get you ranch,» then servers the entire line behind me. Another guy behind the counter asked what I was waiting on and the first screamed, «I got him!» He then got me one small tin of ranch. I asked if I could have more and he said, «You don’t get one for each slice of pizza! I asked if I could pay for more. He said, «No!» I will never go back there again! NOTE: in fairness, he eventually did give me more ranch after I got irate. NOT worth it!!!

Pizza here is alright. I usually just get the cheese. I’ve had the chicken bacon ranch before, but it wasn’t that great. It’s close to my house so I’ll probably stop by every now then, but if I had to walk more than 4 blocks I probably wouldn’t go.

I wouldn’t say I’m a pizza connoisseur, but I’ve been eating pizza in new york city for 24 years, and have consumed what most would say an exorbitant amount. Every time I have Nino’s I am so delectably happy that I’m eating a slice, that I forget about all the bad in the world, and focus on the crunchy cheesy deliciousness that is in front of me. I may be playing this place up a bit, but this has been my main source of pizza since I lived in the East Village. Drunk or Sober you are going to delightfully happy on your choice. No you are not going to Nino’s for its spectacular service, or it’s cheap prices, but if you’re around the area St. Marks area and craving a slice, check out this place. In my opinion its the best pizza on the east side.

Short and sweet here… It wasn’t good, and it wasn’t cheap either where I could say the quality matched the price. The pepperoni roll, eggplant slice, & plain slice all failed the taste test by each of the 3 individuals who ordered their respective items.

This is the drunk pizza spot. Located in between a million bars in the east village, I typically head to this place with my friends after a night of heavy drinking. It is extremely quick and the pizza is pretty«high quality» to a drunk mind. Nothing beats cheese melting in your mouth when you are intoxicated. Last time I was there I had a pizza with bacon and mozzarella on it. To die for. Although I guess I can’t totally trust my judgement when I’m drunk, but oh well.

I work right around the corner from here & no it’s not a trendy little spot but DAMNTHAT’S SOMEGOODPIZZA! A plain slice is delish, it tastes like the Pizza when I was a kid and no one was on a health kick. No it doesn’t taste like a heart attack waiting to happen. It’s just all around yummo!

So I’ll first off say that their pizza is good,(not great) especially if you’re looking for a slice at night. That said, we ordered a pizza through seamless with them. The configuration they have on seamless is totally confusing especially if you want to order more than one topping. We ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza and then once delivered, it only has sausage. HOWEVER, we called the shop after the seamless order just to make sure they got it right. They confirmed it with us. They then willingly made the wrong pizza because seamless wouldn’t let them charge us for the pepperoni, which he later told us, but didn’t tell us when we confirmed the order. That is completely ridiculous. After we called him, he explained this all to us. When your pizza is good, but not great and you have Artichoke, Nicolletta, Motorino, Gnocco etc etc all literally blocks away, you can plan on these guys going out of business if they’re pulling this crap and willingly making the wrong pizza because they haven’t gotten their business straight with Seamless. They were also recently shut down for a C health grade. I used to like these guys but this experience was really disappointing.

Rating mostly based on how bad I felt afterwards. The grease was unbelievable… I guess I shouldn’t have too high expectations for reheated pizza, but I don’t think they even cooked my pizza fully. It was strange to have so much grease on my pizza when the pepperoni wasn’t even fully cooked and sunken into my slice. I got a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, and there were only like 3.5 pepperonis on the slice. I would suggest asking for the slice you want! I guess the prices are okay though. Employees weren’t particularly nice, and the place was so dirty. There were definitely supposed to be some people on duty to clean up after customers, but half the tables had leftover napkins and plates on them. Customers, please clean up after yourselves anyway!

When in NY, pizza is a must. It’s what they’re known for and they do it well! The BACONRICOTTA is one of a kind cheesy goodness. I’ve never had anything like it, it is a must get! The seating arrangement is very limited, so try to find a seat as soon as you come in. Otherwise, the service is very typical where you order at the counter. Perfect for late night eats!

It took 40 minutes to get a pie delivered halfway down the block. When we got it, all the toppings slid right off the first slice, and all of them were flimsy, forcing us to eat DeBlasio style. For what it’s worth, the toppings were good and flavorful, but everything else about the pie was woof.

Ordered delivery through Unilocal a onion and pepper pizza, pizza was delivered PEPPERONIPIZZA, delivery guy said that’s what you ordered and showed me my order ticket, as he pointed to where it clearly says ONIONANDPEPPERS… yes I’m the one who messed up… haaaa So they come back and bring me this sloppy area mess. I guess the delivery guy got mad at me help the pizza sideways where all the cheese was in the box in on my floor They should be shut down!

Stopped in after a good 6 solid hours of drinking and still didn’t find this to be the delish NYC representative slice o’ pizza I was expecting. Around 12:30, we were needing some nosh to go with the many wines and cocktails from the our evening out. I was hoping for something hot, greasy, foldable, and delicious but instead we had something more reminiscent of lukewarm, stale cardboard. Maybe it was the spinach pizza I chose instead of plain cheese? Who knows… next NYC trip we will do our research.

Very nice staff and pretty horrible pizza. It was greasy with cheese that had the consistency of industrial plastic. The sauce was salty and had no tomato taste. Can’t figure out the reviews unless we just came at an off time and an off day. The strange thing was that I had the first slice from a new pie. Maybe the pie had been sitting for a while. The only thing going for it was the crust, light and crispy and crunchy and almost as if it were cornmeal encrusted. I actually wanted to toss it but images of starving children compelled me to pick on it until I got it down to a portion I could toss away without guilt. I should have known when I saw a worker making himself a taco meal.
