This company is thoroughly professional and proficient. They show up on time and get the work done, Stacey is the first person you contact, and she is always courteous. Excellent, excellent company!

Summary: Competent with A/​C repair and customer service. One of few that services Midtown West. Call back may take a day on weekends, which is good for A/​C. I’d def give them a shot or put them in the mix for a quote.
Two months to go in my Co-​Op and the archaic A/​C Unit was blowing out questionably cool air w/​the temperature a-​risin’. I called 12 different places. Only 3 serviced the area, 1 guy was on vacation and the last one didn’t call me back! That’s all good. Neptune had a decent rating from one other guy who had used them so I checked it out.
Customer Service: Appointment set up was straight forward. Because I’m in Manhattan, it was a wait. I got a window of time for arrival and explained my co-​op had strict rules if they were not within certain hours. They asked if I required insurance, which they of course had if needed. The attendees called to provide a 20min warning and were at my place by 15 min. This is a great thing, because that means you can trust that 20min is thoughtfully considering traffic. Receipts are provided via email immediately after the service, before they leave your apartment.
AC Service: They sent two gentleman who thought they were servicing a window vs. wall unit. I don’t deduct for that because as soon as we got past the initial confusion they went straight into looking at the unit. I explained to them my two month situation and said, what are my options. They actually gave me 3 possibilities. The first was a cleaning, which is what I chose. they showed me exactly how the air was blowing now and what I should expect afterwards. The other options because of the age were far more invasive. They showed me exactly why it wasn’t a simple job, what would be required to do it safely, what they know is required in coordination with the Co-​Op management, and why it was invasive. They did not recommend this given my remaining time in the apartment, as anyone new would likely want to replace the unit anyway given its age and the benefits of the newer units. The showed me the temperature of the air and described what that meant. I learned a bunch from these guys.
Pricing. They might not be the cheapest. I think they’re quite fair and you won’t have any funny business. Plus, they are one of few that even service HK to begin with and their customer service is very professional.

I was looking for a custom install for plexiglass for my window AC so I reached out to Neptune. I can’t say enough good things about my experience from start to finish — the customer service was extremely friendly and prompt and the prices were very reasonable compared to other places I had looked at. Also, the guys who did the install were very professional, efficient, honest and meticulous with their work. The work they did beyond exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has any interest in AC installs or the custom plexi-​glass, or anything else for that matter!
