I come to Neighborhood from time to time since its one of the few decent places to eat near my office. I can’t really justify over $ 10 for lunch, but their wraps are pretty darn good. I’ve only had the buffalo chicken wrap and prosciutto wrap, but both had a decent amount of meat. The portion of fries is decent as well, but they’re average. They’re thin-cut, like McD’s, but i’d say ‘ol Ronald serves ‘em up better. My co-workers say the burgers are pretty good as well. I wouldn’t come here more than once a week because of the price. After tax and tip, over $ 10 for a lunch plate without a soda is NOT a good deal. If the lunch menu was dropped $ 2 – 3 per item, i’d definitely come here more often and Unilocal it an easy four stars.

If this restaurant was modeled after a neighborhood it would have to be Tribeca. Not only is Tribeca the neighborhood where this restaurant is located it is also represented in the overpriced food. For a little under $ 10 at lunch you can get what amounts to bar food. If that is really what you are after, head up to Nancy Whiskey which is cheaper and better. Plus, you can still say you had lunch in the neighborhood without having to contend with the overpriced and overvalued Neighborhood.

This fairly standard coffee house/deli sandwich joint is pretty darn good for what it is. They have some pretty sweet specials for both breakfast and lunch. The service is friendly and delivery is quick… oh and they don’t forget the simple things like napkins and straws. I had a «Palermo» Egg sandwich this morning and it was amazing. Some might say it was too cheesy, but hey, I love cheese and melty mozzarella is always welcome on my sandwiches, even if its drippy and stringy. It also had roasted peppers, proscuitto, basil, and some balsamic vinegar. Now THAT’S a classy breakfast sandwich. Like I said, its pretty awesome for what it is, check it out!!!

Decent sandwiches, if small and more expensive than they’re really worth. Flavored mayo is used liberally to kick up the flavor in the specials. I like the Church St Chicken sandwich, with chicken, mushroom, provolone, peppers, and the aforementioned basil mayo. Don’t forget to pick up your free bag of chips if you get a sandwich; they’re behind you as you check out, and they don’t go out of their way to remind you about them. The coffee, despite being Illy, is worth avoiding.
