PRO: I love to eat reasonably healthy and clean so this spot is a lifesaver. I get delivery from here pretty much every week: working late is a lot more pleasant when I can eat their baked falafels and hummus… or occasionally a chicken or bison dish. I love their salads and dinner entrees alike. Pretty much everything here is good in that wholesome way and NOT that MSG-enhanced artificial way that takeout Asian food sometimes are, or that artery-clogging way that American food can be. CRITIQUE: Their hummus is supposedly oil-free. However, I wish that they didn’t put any oil in their soup, chili, and falafels(which they still do). A suggestion for Natureworks: put your ingredient list online somewhere!

What a great idea! Thank you! Healthy tasty food. I am a bit of a health freak and rarely go out to eat because most options aren’t healthy or they taste boring. Healthy could and should radiate taste. This place does it the way I like it. I am visiting on work and from now on this will be my go to spot. My concern: it looks and kind of acts like any other deli in NY. Health nuts are looking for places like this. I am concerned that their marketing and ambience doesn’t show itself enough. Us fit people take a lot of selfies let’s be honest. Try that habit as a marketing scheme. You know what I mean? Bring it to life. I asked the girl working the counter which was better the chili or the lentil soup. «I don’t know. I have never had either.» WTF? Healthy lifestyle = zest for life, motivation and pec flexing. Come on … join us. I will steal your idea and market the poop out it in Texas if you don’t get with the program. I want you to survive man! Peace and love

Exactly what i was looking for. Healthy, fast, reasonable price for mid town. And there are many options. Please please please put out nutritional info. I kinda need it. I had a victory plate with salmon. $ 11.92 and I’m actually full.

If you want to pay $ 20 for a whole lettuce and 3 pieces of overcooked thigh meat which they call chicken breast, then this is your place! Seriously, I had to search on my ‘salad’(just lettuce basically) for the chicken pieces. Also terrible service. Do yourself a favor and don’t go.

This place always takes a long time. It’s weird even when I get just a side order or like an egg sandwich, people who come in after me get their food first and the staff look at you like you didn’t even order yet. Not worth the wait either once I tried it.

Delicious food and terrific service. This place seems to be popular with fitness buffs, and I can see why — the food was yummy, affordable, and healthy. We had a «hulk» smoothie(green from the spinach but surprisingly sweet) and a housemade veggie burger with guacamole. Service was fast and friendly.

Busy season is here again and one of the guys who is particularly fitness-minded requested that I order catering for dinner for the practice from Natureworks. The menu made me giggle then cringe as I read names of items such as the Super Protein Plate, the Hulk Shake, and the Powerhouse sandwich. In an effort to get some new restaurants into the my rotation of busy season caterers, I decided to chance it and order a few salads, some hummus and pita chips, and some chicken dishes that sounded relatively simple. Despite my concern that some of the staff would not find the concept of a good portion of the menu appealing, it was actually quite popular. One guy with particularly discriminating taste and a sweet tooth declared the food delicious and asked, «How is this healthy?» I’m sure I will order from Natureworks again soon but I wish they were on Seamless Catering the way some of my go-to’s are.

The food was dope would def come again thanks Natureworks! Had the chicken coup with a fresh squeezed orange juice. OMG baked tahini is the greatest thing ever invented. Got it with the grilled chicken breast and came with onions tomatoes and cucumbers. This is now my go to meal in midtown

Delicious, healthy food that really hit the spot. I was having cravings for warm, wholesome food and this place seemed to offer just that. I was debating ordering the open sesame and farmer’s market as both seemed like quite popular choices for here but when I saw the the sailor’s plate had no rice/pasta but chili instead, I was sold. And so I ordered the Large Sailor’s plate($ 13.70) which has chicken mixed vegetarian chili on a bed of spinach. I selected the option to make it spicy. I also ordered a side item of baked falafel. The falafel was a bit dry but still pretty good considering it was baked rather than fried. However, for $ 2.48, I probably won’t be ordering that again. The Sailor’s plate had the perfect amount of spiciness(subtle but very much present) and the chili really just warmed up my entire stomach. The chicken was a bit dry but when eaten with the chili, it was barely noticeable. And the spinach was flavorful and mixed really well with the rest of the dish. Highly recommended! The pita that came with it was a bit dry but it was complimentary so can’t really complain. Quick service, tasty food, and decent portion.

Great food. The only reason I subtracted one star is because the details about the carob chip cookie were not disclosed. It’s some form of carrot cake with carob chips and nuts. I specifically asked if it had nuts and was assured that it didn’t, and only had carob chips. I’ve had carob chip cookies before that are just that. I didn’t expect nor do I like carrot cake. Other than that, the meal and staff are fantastic.

Delicious healthy quick fast food. The grilled chicken and rice is around $ 8 and the portion size is big and generous. Service is always fast and often get it delivered, comes very promptly every time. Have eaten here a lot and always my go to place in NYC.

Good menu. Great location for a quick stop before going to MOMA. Lentil soup with brown rice was perfect.

Really? How are they even still running with a beat up customer service. Placed an order online and then I called a few minutes later to ask about one of the ingredients. The girl who picked up the phone was extremely rude– claiming I had not put an order and in the end she hanged up on me. I hate these ppl that think can run a business with bare human skills.

My go to for delivery and pick up. Always fresh, high quality, quick service, can eat in as well. Both locations are great. It doesn’t get any better for delicious, healthy food for all preferences and time of day. Both locations are superb. Get a NatureWorks card. They stamp every order you pick up. 10 stamps equals a free order.

No longer being a resident of the Murray Hill area, one of the great losses I had to cope with was leaving my beloved 31st Street location of Natureworks, conveniently located across the street from my old apartment. However, I learned there is a God, and His name is Seamless. Natureworks has another location uptown and they deliver to my new apartment!(Unfortunately the location isn’t a hop and a skip away, but close enough!) Anyway, in the last few months I have become VERY fond of the Open Sesame high protein plate, so naturally this was my go-to order to give the other location a test drive. I always order this dish with no brown rice or pasta, and with a side of spinach. Delivery said it would take 30 – 45 minutes, and voila, my dinner arrived 35 minutes after I placed the order. Success! Now for the comparison foodie breakdown… I like 31st Street better, which is why this location as 4 stars compared to 5. I’m not sure if it’s the different chefs who make the food, or because I ordered delivery so the time between the concocting of this dish and it reaching my lips was extended, but it wasn’t as good. It was still great, don’t get me wrong but I have a few criticisms: 1. Whenever I’d order from 31st Street the tahini would harden on top, leaving for there to be a crust-like top to break through before digging into the protein-filled meaty goodness. Not the case with 55th Street :(It was a bit more soggy, sadness! 2. Typically whenever I’d order without brown rice, they’d give me more chicken. 55th Street put in SOMUCHMORE spinach I regretted ordering the side of it. Whatever, lets boost my iron levels, shall we? Overall, I will remain a loyal Natureworks customer, even at the 55th Street location. The flaws this place has in comparison to my beloved 31st are only minor, and the food is still delicious. Until next week, Open Sesame.

Expensive for some simply prepared food. Not even sure if they are healthy as they don’t nutritional facts for their food. They are tasty though.

People definitely love this spot. I have some co-workers who swear it’s one of the best, if not the best, lunch spot in Midtown. Granted Midtown lunch spots are usually overpriced and underwhelming, so competition is pretty thin. Either way, I think this place is just«aight.» For what you pay, you do get decent portions especially if ordering any of their platters. For me, the large is even a bit too much. Each platter comes with pita bread as well. They have a decent variety of platters to choose from including vegetarian options. They have some«spicy» dishes, but if you truly like spicy food you might feel let down. I think the name, Natureworks, gives people false hope that they are definitively eating something healthy. It isn’t a huge, sloppy sub from one of the many delis in the area, but I also don’t think Jack Lalanne* would be singing the praises of the menu here.** There are indeed some healthier options, but read the menu carefully to see what you are going to be ingesting. I realize I beat it up a little bit in this review. It is a decent option for lunch if you work in the area. If you are a fan of Dig Inn, I think it is a fine #2 since if you don’t get to Dig Inn by 11:45, the line is out the door. The service here is efficient and friendly. The employees that I have encountered know the menu and are happy to answer your questions. It does get a little hectic in here as people seem to think it’s OK to block the line while they decide what they want. The place is clean, and has seating for about 20 – 25. *For you young pups, Jack Lalanne is an American fitness icon and nutritional expert sometimes referred to as the«Godfather of Fitness.» **The views and opinions expressed in this review are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the beliefs or position of Jack Lalanne or his associates.

My fiancé and I tried the Madison Square park location a little over 2 years ago. I had the Mediterranean burrito and my fiancé had one of the protein platters. He found his dish to be tasteless and I’m the type that always want to try something new regardless of how great it is(actually the burrito was just ok) so we never bothered returning. After tummy trouble from brunch earlier in the day however, my fiancé and I decided to order in something slightly healthier and«cleaner». We went on seamless and discovered that Natureworks has opened a new location closer to our home. We decided to give it a go again — vegetarian taco salad and bison + egg wrap. Vegetarian taco salad — a generous scoop of guac(my fav) + 3 baked falafel + bean chili + melted soy cheese and whole grain chips over a bed of mesclun, tomato, cucumber, corn. I polished my plastic bowl clean! No need salad dressing — the chili and guac combo was so flavorful already. My fiancé really enjoyed his simple yet delicious bison + egg in whole wheat tortilla. What a great healthy alternative in our hood! Will definitely order again and can’t wait to try the other salad options!
