Just tried this food truck today for lunch. It was amazing! I ordered a gyro in a pita and a side spinach pie. The gyro was delicious; the meat was tender and the white sauce was spot on. The pita was grilled to perfection. The spinach pie was one of the best spinach pies that I have ever had. There was a perfect balance of spinach/feta/fillo ratio. I will definitely come back here!

Tried this truck for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised! The food was fresh, well cooked and delicious. I got half chicken/gyro platter with rice and the gyro meat was really good. I liked that I didn’t feel heavy after eating it, some trucks have so much grease etc. in their food and by the time you finish your ready for a nap not so with this truck! Will definitely be making this a regular lunch spot.

High quality, fresh and consistent food. The chicken is constantly on the grill and each order is fresh cut in front of you. Small menu. My five star rating is based on consistently good food for a very fair price. Almost every meal is under $ 10. I usually get the chicken pita, and it costs $ 6. A can of soda is $ 1 and adding feta cheese is another dollar. My wife gets the Greek salad with grilled chicken for $ 8. If you work in the area you probably already get food here. If not, it will likely become your regular spot. Like all good food trucks a line forms at noon. Nice family business. You will be happy you got food here.

I’ve been wanting to try this truck since I moved in across the street in August. This afternoon I finally stopped by on my way back to work after a lunchtime workout. The staff was friendly and took care in making my special order. Chicken over salad platter(with sliced pita on the side in lieu of the rice/fries). They garnished it with tomatoes, cooked onions/peppers, cucumbers and tzatziki. The chicken was very tender(white breast meat) which goes a long way in my book. For $ 8 you really cant beat it. I will certainly be stopping by more often and sampling other menu items. Mykonos gets bonus stars in my opinion, since the actual island Mykonos is one of my favorite places to visit and their truck wrap allows me to reminisce on my daily walk to the office!

Fresh good food… Beef souvlaki on a pita with a coke for $ 7 in Midtown. The tomatoes are from Long Island till the end of October(no joke).

No sad desk lunch here! Best gyro I’ve had in a very long time and Greek gyros are one of my favorite things. Large tasty chunks of meat in every bite and everything was fresh. The pita was overstuffed yet not difficult to eat like some others; it’s still supposed to be a sandwich after all. The fries are on the yummy side too and everything was on the cheap side for midtown east which was a pleasant change from the neighborhood norm. I can’t wait to go back and have the souvlaki. Also I think I only waited around 5 mins for my order to come up which is faster than many of the take out places in the area.

Good fresh food. Good portion size. Friendly staff. Nice to grab lunch and take to the park nearby. The truck is located on the south side of 47th Street between 2nd-3rd Avenues, closer to 2nd Avenue.

This food truck has been having their business at this spot more than 5 years as long as I know. They used to park on the north side on 47th Street, but now they are on the south side with a new and bigger truck. I go there after 1 pm, and there is always a line. However, it doesn’t take that long time till your order is taken and the food is ready. When I started to be one of their customers, I was surprised how well the main vendor guy remember customers order. My favorite here is chicken platter $ 8. As a Japanese, I love rice so I often go to Japanese restaurants and Asian restaurants around this area, but sometime I get bored of going to the same restaurants or I don’t want to spend more than$ 10 for lunch. In that case, I eat rice from this vendor. Their rice is thicker and dry than Japanese rice and seasoned with something yellow. I don’t know what kind of seasoning they use, but it tastes good. The platter comes with salad, too. The grilled chicken smells good with charcoal aroma. You can choose if you add dressing for salad, white sauce or hot sauce on the top.
