The food is good, love the soups and that cookie. However, the delivery is oooh sooo slooow. I work nearby and don’t get to get out for lunch often. I usually order delivery via GrubHub. Their estimate for delivery is always between 15 to 30 minutes, but it usually takes an hour or more for them to show up. Once, it took about 2 hours for my food to arrive. WAT?! On a different occasion, I finally got my order and they sent me the wrong soup. How in hades does that happen when the order is in plain text?! I need them to get their life. If I’m really hungry and/or really want exactly what I ordered, which is often the case, I can’t order from this place.

What a delicious sandwich shop in Hell’s Kitchen! I ordered delivery for a half soup, half sandwich combo to go, and they packed my lunch neatly in a cute lunch box. My chicken parm sandwich hit the spot and left me with no food coma as they did not overdo on the cheese. The half sammie is in the small side but still left me very satisfied. They thoughtfully packed the marinara sauce in a separate container so I could add as I go — not only did it keep my sammie from turning soggy, I could control how much or little sauce I wanted to add. Shall I mention they also used the SOFTESTPILLOWYBREAD ever? It was like a chicken parm sammie wrapped between soft fluffy clouds. Absolutely delectable. The beef stew, be warned, is a light, clear stew filled with vegetables(instead of the usual dark, hearty stew). I didn’t mind because it was still flavorful and appropriate for lunch. Lastly, there was a small chocolate chip cookie to finish the meal on a sweet note. This is a lovely lunch spot to add to your rotation in Hell’s Kitchen. Note that they only open during the weekdays for now. I’m a fan and can’t wait to come back for the rest of the menu!
