Incredible wine selection. and the lovely Manager was on hand to offer her expert advice on our selections. I go at least once a week & all my friends love it too!

I went to the Share gig at Mundial that they have every sunday to check out the laptop audio/video jam. As suggested in another review, it was sparsely populated, though the jamming room was pretty well peopled. I spoke with the bartender, and he suggested that, because of a number of reasons(changing management, seasonal shifts) it hasn’t been as busy as in the past(such as during the World Cup, when both Iranian and Mexican political officials stopped in to watch soccer on the plethora of TVs they have). Maybe the place just needs a little love. I did meet a number of interesting people, and felt very welcomed into the experimental dj/video artists community there. I plan to go back and perform in the near future. There’s a nice back patio in addition to the 2 separate rooms, in case you are a smoker. All in all, it was a good experience, in spite of the«off the beaten path» feel. I’m hopeful it will pick up in the fall, as one guy I met there said(fall, spring are the busier times).

Good bar if you want to be alone, each time I’ve been there there’s an average of 7 people there! But I hear there’s a video art thing on Sundays that draws a big crowd. Good drink specials($ 5 cosmos & margaritas on Friday night) but the drinks aren’t exactly the tastiest. But my friend loves to take his dates there because its a great place to make out. So if that’s what you’re looking for, you’ve found it!
