We dined with Ralph in late May. This was my husband’s and my first Feastly experience and to up the stakes even more we invited two friends for a «surprise» brunch. So much could have gone wrong but nothing did. Ralph was a wonderful host, and the food was absolutely delicious! Our favorite dish was the guava pancakes. The freshly-made fruit juices(and mimosas, when added to champagne) rounded off the experience beautifully. All of us were happy and satisfied when we left and would gladly dine with Ralph again.

Great experience. Great food. Great company. I’m looking forward to trying the Brunch. My wife and I had the St. Criox dinner. Everything was cooked wonderfully. The dessert was great; it was not overly sweet but it was a definite nice ending. It’s BYOB so bring your favorite vino. The liquor store isn’t too far away, but I’d like it to be closer.

The tres leches pancakes with dulce de leche and coriander whipped cream were truly amazing. Ralph told us he had to steal the recipe from his mother’s cookbook. He also home made his juices for mimosas which were amazing. The passion fruit juice was especially good. We went via Feastly and had a great time. Ralph’s place was good and it was overall a wonderful experience. Learned a lot about St. Croix’s culture and food. I would happily go back.

You have to go and check it out. He is passionate about what he makes and where his food is from. He has lot of secret ingredient help from his hometown including his grandma :). You will not get menu he served in any restaurant. Highly recommend.

A few months back a friend sent me a link to Feastly that offered a West African Dinner in a Bed Stuy grocery store. I ultimately did not participate but another friend attended and raved! So, when she suggested a Crucian Bottomless Brunch through Feastly, to be held in the chefs apartment, I signed on happily. Ralph our host and chef charmed us all with his stories of acquisition of scant St. Croix guavaberries and his tireless efforts to hone his recipes. The entire experience was AMAZING! We laughed and chatted our way through 3 delicious course and 3 types of tropical mimosas. Needless to say, I’ll be back.

The food was amazing, and quite affordable. Ralph was super sweet and talked to us the entire time we were there. We learned not only about St. Croix food, but about the island as well. This is kind of cool: his mom actually sends him jars of berries and other foods because he can’t buy it in NYC.

Such a relaxed environment! Food was delicious. You can’t go wrong with mimosas, but pairing them with the local Caribbean fruits such as soursop, passion fruit, and guava berries made it that much better! Chef Ralph knows how to stew some amazing goat! All around excellent experience!
