Great food and service. We had tomatoes that were great in January. The lentil and vegetable soup were also great.

I have avoided trying Milos Café for years due to the(primarily) snooty, unwelcoming, and«put out» customer service I’ve experienced when making reservations at Milos proper for my Executives, and the consistent reports of the same customer and table service they have received nearly every time they dine in. This combined with the exorbitant pricing on most of the MC items has solidly kept my business at bay. Yesterday, one of my Executives came back to the office with MC’s Salmon Sandwich, which looked and smelled so good I decided to order one for pick up after work, especially since a hearty and healthy sandwich, small salad, and fresh veggie chips cost less than $ 10. I ordered it online at 5pm. I arrived at MC just before 5:30pm. With one employee on the floor stocking the shelves, and four employees in the back talking, it took a moment before anyone offered to assist me(the only customer in the café). When I mentioned I was picking up an online order, there was great hubbub… as no one knew there was an order to fill. They took quite a few minutes reading and re-reading the order… asking each other what to do… but no one making the plate. The manager came in, who was very jovial, likable, and personable, though took another few minutes to realize the look on my face was not one of pleasure. After repeatedly trying to upsell me on various items they offer, he clicked in, and asked if I’d been helped. When I explained the situation, he went right to work managing, and had his employees prepare my food quickly. However, no apology for the wait, no offer for a complimentary beverage or dessert item to show good grace(which I do not feel would have been asking much, since he was pushing expensive bottles of olive oil on me for a few minutes before he realized there was an issue)…just a talk with his team, which made it clear this was a consistent issue that they’ve been trained to avoid many times over. These things happen. Sometimes you put in an order online, are the only order they have had in the past thirty minutes, but the ball is dropped, and they screw it up. Annoying, but no biggy. It’s how the situation is handled to ensure the customer is quelled, and business retained. A simple genuine apology for the inconvenience is usually all a person needs to give a business a second shot. But, when you have the primary business offering pretentiousness no where near its best, and the associated café unable to execute at the level of my local bodega? And at MC’s prices?! You’re not a business I can justify frequenting, or recommending others to do the same.

I have been here a few times and have loved their sandwiches. But today — I ordered the grilled chicken salad for $ 16 and waited 20 minutes… and all i got was a piece of grilled chicken and a bed of romaine lettuce and some dressing. What a rip off. Will never order that again and may never go back to this place.

Great restaurant, service was very good, we had the grilled octopus(one of the best octopus in my life) the Lobster was also very good but I could’ve had more octopus and pay much less and be happier, after going to the theater is a great option! Really enjoyed it!

Ordered lobster roll and found brioche to be stale, brittle and dry. I addressed this with the servers and received a new roll and an explanation that fresh bread is delivered daily however I still found the new roll to be stale. Overall, the visit is not worth the time, effort and money. Not the place to visit for a sandwich…

Move over, Fage and Chobani, because Milos Café has the best Greek yogurt I’ve had! Sure, it’s not fair to compare Greek yogurt from a small café to that from a large company that packages it for individual sale, but if you are ever craving real, authentic Greek yogurt, you must come to Milos and try its Plain«Real Greek» Yogurt. The small 4oz portion($ 4.50) is a bit on the expensive side, but you also get a choice of toppings — fresh fruit, granola, or dried fruits. I got the fresh fruit of blueberry, strawberry, mango and pineapple. The fruits are so ripe and go perfectly well together with the yogurt. The Greek yogurt is extremely thick and creamy. I’d recommend adding a little drizzle of honey to make it sweeter. The yogurt almost has a consistency of cream cheese + sour cream mixed together.

Just devoured a prosciutto, tomato, and mozzarella cheese sandwich on ciabatta bread and it was delicious! One of the most satisfying sandwiches I’ve had in a long, long while. I don’t even like eating sandwiches. At a $ 9+ price tag, it is a bit pricey for a sandwich in Midtown, but at least it comes with a small green salad and some Terra chips. They also have several other sandwiches to choose from, all ranging from $ 9-$ 15. Milos Café also prides themselves in their real Greek yogurt, which I have not tried. I would recommend to-go orders as this small café has limited seating. The sandwich had good proportions of all ingredients and didn’t jip out on the prosciutto. The mozzarella was fresh, as were the greens. The ciabatta bread was super crispy on the outside and it was delicious! No stale bread here. My colleague complained that it was really tough and chewy, but I guess that’s because he doesn’t understand ciabatta bread :) Cute little small café with slightly overpriced but delicious sandwich(es). I’ll probably try their«famous lentil soup» next.

I work nearby and met someone last week for a cup of coffee. Two small cups cost $ 2.99 each! And a lot of their menu items are $ 20+ I’m not sure how this place stays in business, unless their Greek yogurt sales are that strong. One of the most overpriced places in midtown, and I’ve worked here for 25 years.

Tzatziki is to die for as is the mixed greens salad with smoked salmon. Reasonably priced lobster roll is pretty decent as well. Fast delivery through Seamless.

Super tasty Greek yogurt, salads, sandwiches, hummus, fresh fruit, etc. I had the breakfast Greek yogurt every morning of my stay in NYC. Probably the tastiest Greek yogurt I’ve ever had.

Love coming to this place for something quick and relatively healthy. The space is small but the ambiance is quaint and quiet, a nice little getaway from busy city streets. Highly recommend the butternut squash soup, absolutely delicious.

cute takeout spot with some outdoor seating. they specialize in greek yogurt, but I came for lunch and ordered the proscuitto, mozzarella and tomato sandwich. DELICIOUS. Fresh, crusty ciabatta, zingy mustard, and fresh ingredients. They make their sandwiches to order so don’t be fooled by the prepared stuff at the window. Comes with a handful of chips and small side salad. yummo

A nice grab and go café where you can choose a quick $ 10-$ 15 sandwich or $ 6-$ 8 side options that include hummus etc. Great service on the counter and is a nice grab and go spot if you are on the run. I suggest the chicken salad sandwich with hummus & pita. Total came out to $ 25-ish but well worth it for a dinner at the office.

I just had a prosciutto/mozzarella sandwich from here. It was huge and delicious! I’ll be full for hours. The bread was perfect — warm, chewy with a crackly crust, and the sandwich was stuffed with really excellent prosciutto. Yes, $ 10 for a sandwich sucks outside of NYC. But this is midtown Manhattan and at that quality in this area, this is a great value. The sandwich came with a side of fresh greens dressed with simple balsamic vinegar dressing and veggie chips. Completely satisfying. This is a new favorite lunch spot.

Excellent deal for lunch. For just around $ 10, you can get a fresh Tuna, Salmon or other fish of the day sandwich with salad and chips. It has 3 tables that you can stand to eat at, but otherwise, this is not recommended for larger parties as people order take out or delivery from what I gathered. Healthy and Hearty, especially during LENT :) Buon Appetito

The one thing that seems to come up is that the place is expensive and it kind of is. I won’t lie, I did cringe a bit when I read that the Prosciutto tomato mozzarella sandwich was 9 bucks and the small yogurt was 4.50 but it turned out ok. The sandwich came with a good amount of stuff in it and there was a side salad and terra chips. The yogurt is good, it excels in texture(thick and creamy). There’s a unique flavor that i just can’t put my finger on. The honey that i added on was good too. sweet but not strong. I avoided the other toppings as they cost 2 bucks extra and i found it absurd that it should cost that much. Oh, their small should be labeled«heart achingly small». For comparison, I think a pack of Fage/Chobani is about 8 oz. You get about half of that here. Maybe a tad more. I think my total was 14.70. When i think about the other slop i’ve eaten in the diners and delis around here, it was a decent lunch. Enough to fill you up and get you through the afternoon. I’ll be coming back to try the other stuff so i’ll update this another time.
