Wow. Wow. Wow. My girlfriend has been to Paris and said that these pastries are what they taste like over there! So awesome!

The french macaroon class was excellent. Dimitri is a wonderful teacher and passionate about baking. It was a really fun way to spend a few hours on a Saturday afternoon. I highly recommend it if you enjoy these delicious treats.

It’s the first time I’ve gone out for coffee + breakfast in a long, long time. After some convincing from a friend, I made the short trek uptown to Mille-Feuille and arrived around 10:45am on a Saturday — the place was bustling and there were only a couple seats available. Eventually, the place cleared out(a lot) and the three of us were able to get a seat. Service here is really good — staff is super nice and accomodating. I had a coffee — standard coffee, but strong and smooth at the same time. You can ask for different kinds of milk(i.e. almond). For my pastry, I decided to get the raspberry almond croissant, after hearing so many good things about the almond croissants here. They asked if I wanted it warmed up — well, of course! The outside was flaky and crispy and the inside was almond-y and raspberry-y. The«raspberry» is pretty much just a raspberry jam/preserve in addition to the usual almond paste. Still a very good croissant, but I think I like the normal ones better. Nice little café to hang out at and chit chat, if it’s not packed.

Almond Croissants are excellent. Large selection of sweet treats too. If you’re on Broadway in the UWS, recommend stopping here. Not overly crowded and friendly customer service make this a go-to spot.

This is THE place. One and an half year I lived in UWS and this has been my breakfast go-to place for the whole time. Fantastic pastries(almond croissant is my favorite), superb coffee and over the roof service. This is a real, authentic, café as we European define it. I couldn’t find anything nearly as close to exceptional as this guys are. Keep on and thank you!

Very nice bakery across the street from where I stayed in new York for a week. We went in around a 9am on Monday and was greeted by the sweet cashier and I believe the actually store owner was there. While my boyfriend and I got two mille fuilles and two cappucino, I must say they were amazing. I’m actually going today to grab more before I leave. The cream is not too sweet, and the dough is not two crunchy it all melts in your mouth.

The quiche is light and super flavorful. The almond chocolate croissant is amazing as well. The staff was very friendly and served us quickly and efficiently. Will return soon!

I stopped by here to try some of their macaroons. They were absolutely delicious, definitely a must try to any macaroon lover. The staff here is so friendly, I stopped by after 7pm and got a free baguette which was nice; more bakeries should do this!

I read great things about this bakery. Since I was already in the neighborhood and my friend suggested I go here, I decided to stop by. I’m so glad I did! I came here on my last day in NY and wanted to bring some treats back with me. I got a ham and cheese croissant as a snack for my plane ride home. I wasn’t expecting much since I knew I couldn’t heat it up, but it was so good even hours later! Since I was in a French bakery, I had to get macarons. I got two pistachio macarons and the filling was delicious! I also got a chocolate French doughnut. It’s their version of the cronut. It was crispy and flaky and I loved the chocolate filling. It was very messy to eat, but definitely worth the mess. It’s a cute bakery with amazing pastries. I will be back the next time I’m in New York!

My friend catered from Mille-Feuille for a lunch party and it was incredible. The only problem is that everything is so good you will eat too much. If you are counting calories — stay away. If you want a decadent experience then pop open a bottle of Processco and have at it. It is a sinful pleasure.

Almond croissants are wonderful — oh so crackly shell with a light yellow almond filling — mmmm! The nieces were visiting from Texas and finally understood what a good croissant should be: «It actually has layers!» Yes, my loves, and layers are everything! Btw — Macarons are solid too, a little high on the filling but has nice chew.

**BESTALMONDCROISSANTS, LIKEEVER** Of course I want to keep this place all to myself. AMBIANCE ========= Friendly and cute patisserie in Upper West Side neighborhood. Neon signs with a touch of French vintage typography on the front windows. My ideal bakery café. FOOD ===== ALMONDCROISSANT — $ 3.90 OMFG is all you have to know. It’s so good, I might say better than Paris. Flaky, buttery, and moist. All in one bite. RATING: 5⁄5 BEVERAGE ========== DOUBLEESPRESSO — $ 2.53 Light but STRONG. I am still buzzing after writing this. RATING: 5⁄5 The owner gave me a free macaron and I died. So good, too. I swear, I might move to NYC after this. OVERALL ======== Not crowded or overly touristy. Just perfectly right. My trip to NYC is utterly complete because of this place. HIGHLYRECOMMEND.

Love this place! Authentically french and definitely worth trying. Like the other reviews stated, the staff here are out of this world. Genuinely kind and helpful. The baked goods looked like pieces of art! Macarons looked amazing and they have a huge variety. Try the ham & cheese croissant — delicious!

People here are just so nice, not«hello how are you» nice but rather«HEREIS A FREECAKE» nice(not a whole cake obviously). Their lunch special looks like a really good option. For 12.50USD you choose 2 out of salad/sandwich/quiche/soup/pastry and get free coffee/tea/water. I can’t say their savory options are tasty because they aren’t nearly as well made as the baked stuff here. But it’s always nice to have so many options.

Excellent croissant & perfect macaroons. I really love macaroons but in the states it seemed impossible to find anything like in France. But, at this little bakery I found heaven. Their macaroons are perfection. I also loved the croissant, flaky and buttery with lots of layers. Also returned the next day to try the French doughnuts and they were outstanding!

High quality baked goods and if you’re still hunkering for a cronut pretender I think Mille-Feuille has a pretty decent selection! Honestly, anything croissant or butter filled here is excellently prepared.

It was so unexpected when I happened upon this location. I heard about their opening through local sources and was excited to visit… eventually… when I was in the area since I have been to their laguardia place store. I was not aware of their close proximity to the fairway which was where I was headed and I was going to keep walking cuz of my past disappointment since I always miss the cron0ts *ahem* french doughnuts(their version of the croissant doughnut hybrid) by the time I make it to their other store. But out of the corner of my eye I saw the telltale donut shape and I suddenly found myself walking through the door as if possessed by some unknown force. Upon glimpsing the glass case everything was arranged so meticulously. These desserts are just too pretty to eat. But they will not be ignored by me like a forgotten wallflower. Into my tummy they plan to go. Right away I wanted to snatch up these french doughnuts before they disappeared into the ether of my imagination. I was seriously beginning to doubt they existed. The raspberry one is my favorite with their crispy outer shell rolled in cinnamon sugar, a delicious spread of raspberry preserves in the belly of the doughnut and up top the glorious loop of icing dotted with raspberry sugar crystals. Yum! The chocolate french doughnut is also not to be missed. The croissants and cakes all look good some of which I have tried before at their downtown location but uptown is the new downtown and those delectable mille feuilles, eclairs, royals and macarons will be saved for the many more days I plan to return. These desserts were all good sized like 4 – 5 bite desserts but they also carry larger full sized cakes of the same creation to be shared with friends, companions, strangers and significant others. This was definitely a nicer more open and airy layout than their original store. And the staff was so friendly! I inquired about the ispahan cake and was thoroughly informed of the best way I could order in the future. Because honestly who doesnt want a giant pink disc sized macaron with fresh raspberries and rose cream. I also went home with a surprise baguette which I happily munched on with my pasta dinner. They also have a lunch special that includes a sandwich/quiche, a pastry and a drink. And the macaron samples at the counter were a total score! Like Arnold Schwartzenegger says, «I will be bock!» Thanks MFUWS for a wonderful first experience.
