One star for horrible customer service. They totally rushed me and my family on our order.

I’ve tried to hit Hudson Eats on off-hours, so I don’t have to contend with the crowds. It might have been off-hours for Mighty Quinns too because I was really expecting this to be amazing, but it was a teeny let down. Don’t get me wrong — it was good… but maybe I’d built it up in my mind too much. I got the burnt ends sandwich and luckily my sis reminded me to get it with the chilies… which was the only punch of flavor I got. I would like to give it another try simply because the food still looks so appetizing and I feel like maybe it was an off day.

Simply delicious. BBQ is not too sweet, perfectly smoked meats with all their pickled vegetables to cut through the fat. Perfectly balanced. Love their sides as well. Will be my lunch spot when I’m really hungry.

My favorite place in Hudson eats in NYC. Loved the pulled pork sandwich. Perfectly tender and juicy, great flavors on a soft bun. French fries were ok.

I landed at EWR at around 6, and I was starving — after getting to the financial district around 8pm, I was struggling to find a place that would be open nearby(was only in nyc for a night so didn’t want to venture out too much) I Unilocaled and found this place, and it seemed interesting as well as being nearby to a market that I thought would be nice to explore. The food court that Mighty Quinn’s is in is so beautiful *_* reminds me of one of those super high end malls with Prada and Gucci and metallic exteriors. you know those, right? Although it was only an hour till closing, the guy behind the counter was super helpful with recommendations, and they had run out of one popular item(forgot) but he recommended the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious all the same. It was super greasy, but I feel like grease is a necessity to good bbqs so idk if it’d be fair to dock a star for that. They also had some pretty phenomenal pickles & coleslaw that came with the meal. Maybe I was just super hungry and thought everything was really delicious but according to the other great reviews for this place, I wasn’t the only one impressed. :)

I randomly pick this spot for lunch a while ago but I’ve been here a couple of times. Its inside hudson eats foodcourt. The foodcourt that I love. Lots of choices everyday. I got the beef brisket sandwich with mayo salad, pickles & chili. And sweetened lemon iced tea for drink. I love it & for sure you’ll gonna love it too! Its simply the best with reasonable price. If you want sauce they have a bbq sauce that taste perfect with the sandwich. The second thing that I always get from here is the pulled pork sandwich. So juicy! I’ll be back!

Not a fan at all! I’m from the south and this is definitely not like I am use too. I got the burnt ends and fries. I ate three fries, which were flavorless and soggy. Then I found a hair in my fries, which wasn’t a big deal cause I wasn’t eating anymore anyhow. The burnt end sandwich was terrible. There was soooo much sauce you couldn’t taste the meat. It was an overwhelmingly tangy taste. Would have liked to taste the meat. I ate about half and quit because it just wasn’t good. But their pickles cucumbers were good!

It’s no secret that I’m a Mighty Quinn’s fanatic, and I honestly think that Mighty Quinn’s has the best brisket in Manhattan. Given that the crazy, winding lines to their Hudson Eats location are always incredibly long during lunch hours, I would say a good number of people agree with me. As previously mentioned, the main thing to get here is the brisket. It happens to be on the fatter side, but you can also ask the person slicing to give you some leaner cuts. Other good items are the ribs(half a rack is more than enough for 1 person), the brontosaurus rib, and the ½ chicken. I’d say that the smoked chicken is a pretty good value at about $ 9, and it comes with a small side of slaw(as do pretty much all the meat items). The only thing that I don’t much care for are the burnt ends. Having tried proper Kansas City burnt ends, I find the ones at Mighty Quinn’s to be too saucy. I like having the option to sauce my burnt ends, so as a result, I typically just go for the brisket, obviously. My favorite sides are the broccoli salad(the only semblance of a healthy item at MQ’s), the fries, and the burnt ends baked beans. As noted elsewhere, you won’t get your typical soul food sides at Mighty Quinn’s, but these alternative sides are actually decent, and definitely worth a try. Service at this stand is always pretty good, although if you make any extra changes to your order in the busy lunch hour, there’s a likely chance that it may be forgotten or lost in the craziness. The prices are a bit expensive for lunch($ 12+), but I would say it’s worth it for a heavier-than-usual Friday lunch, or for a dinner to go. I actually typically don’t eat here for lunch all that much, except maybe Fridays, but I’d definitely recommend it for people who are in the area for reasons other than their job. Nonetheless, I’ll obviously be back if I have a brisket or chicken craving.

My favorite location! Located inside World Trade 3 on the second floor. Upscale food court with bomb views of the hudson. Brisket is my go to. The pickled free sides that comes with the order are bit too vinegar tasting. Still I pick Mighty Quinns as one of my favorites within this food court. Had the wings, they weren’t bad. Next time the crispy chicken sandwich.

Just okay. The meat was good. The sides were just okay. It might be best to stick with a sandwich. Not rushing to get back there.

About as good as it’s going to get for BBQ(at least for brisket) in New York — authentic, consistent, and just plain delicious. You pick a main entrée(BBQ) which comes with coleslaw and pickled veggies. The serving size on the included sides to your BBQ item could be generously categorized as… acceptable. Needless to say you might want to consider some sides if you’re really hungry. I find going without sides is good for a lunch portion but for dinner it’s probably necessary. Highlights include: Brisket — melt in your mouth meaty goodness, the brisket is consistent and never fails to disappoint Ribs — not as good as say, Dinosaur BBQ but they’re tender and savory with or without the bbq sauce which is key Fries — Crispy and generously salted they go great with the main entrée, packed with flavor Corn fritters — comes with a sweet, syrupy dipping sauce these are basically fried cornbread, can’t go wrong with that combo. Much like the other Hudson Eats food court offerings, Mighty Quinn’s is busier during weekday lunch and has a short wait during the remainder of the week. The line also moves at a reasonable pace during the lunch rush but expect to wait ~10−15 minutes. Excellent lunch or dinner option if you have a BBQ craving, you should expect ospend around $ 15 for your meal.

Lunch in a veritable food court. Wasn’t expecting much from the brisket and pulled pork plates I split with my chick, but man, they were really delicious! There was so much flavor in the meat, I didn’t feel the usual urge to add any of the optional sauces they had, and I’m a sauce slathering MF when I get some BBQ. That said, I totally went bananas with the pickled sides they had, which I thought were a great compliment to the meat. One thing I didn’t love in our meal was the beet salad. It was way too sour for my taste. I’m a still trying to figure out if that was deliberate or if someone messed up the spice mixture. Other than the beets though, it was a very solid and inexpensive meal. I was truly surprised at how good it was. Four stars all the way.

I ordered the Brisket Sandwich and I thought it was super tender and tasty. I was not disappointed at all. There are a bunch of toppings that you can add onto the sandwich for free. Don’t be shy to ask for all of it because they put it on the side of your sandwich, giving you the chance to sample it without having to actually place it on your sandwich if you don’t like it.

Why have I waited this long to try MQ’s??? Now I will list all the things that made me very happy: –Quick moving line: yes efficiency! –Crispy spicy chicken sandwich: delicious. Sauce is tangy with a kickkk. –Brisket: melty meat. –Pickled sides: celery is bomb. –Fries: necessary. –Portions: generous with quite reasonable prices. Only withholding a star because I can’t attest to consistency. Once I go again(hopefully very soon), I’ll update with the last *. Tl;dr: Droooooooool want more

TLDR: Yes. The East Village location is usually mad crowded, and this Brookfield shop typically has a line out the queue given all the investors coming over for lunch. Lucky for me, it was a holiday the day I decided to try Mighty Quinn’s, so there was only one person ahead of me. I ordered the brisket sandwich(you can get any of the meats as is or on a roll, no extra charge). The girl working the counter took out a huge slab of meat and sliced it right in front of me. Then I was asked to select my choice of pickled vegetables and either a vinegar or mayo-based slaw. I went with the cucumbers and mayo slaw. Classic. As for additional sides, I got the bacon potato salad. Eating the food, I was impressed. Even though the location is in a food court, the quality wasn’t cut back at all. The brisket was incredibly moist and tender with none of that gross, chewy fat. For extra flavor, I topped it with one of the barbeque sauces in the condiments tray at the check out. The slaw and pickles were fresh, nice and crunchy, providing a good contrast to the meat(I threw everything together on the sandwich). The potato salad was too supah fresh. The crisp red onion gave it a nice kick(though also forced me to buy gum afterwards). Next time I’m in the mood for barbecue, I’ll turn to Mighty Quinn’s.

Mighty Quinn’s is always great. Every time I’ve had it. Delicious. This spot at Hudson Eats! never has long lines. Go here, get your BBQ quickly, and enjoy the views in the cafeteria style eatery. Why not. Oh. Get the Crunchy, Spicy Chicken Sandwich. See below…

Mighty Quinn’s was good, so good that I forgot my wallet at the cashier while I was paying haha. I had to come here after chowing down the delicious brisket sandwich at Smorgasburg. I ordered the half-chicken which was an awesome price at $ 8.25 and got bbq sauce on the side. The chicken come with bone and everything so it was a fun experience to eat and gets really messy. The flavor of the chicken was delicious but as I got more to the bone, the chicken was really dry and the bbq sauce was needed. The pickled add ons were all so good and colorful(celery, red chiles, onions, pickles), i really cant decide which one I liked the best haha. I really appreciated how the pickles were not overly salty and still had a crunch to them as did the pickled celery. I think I was charged extra for the slaw unknowingly, not sure if it is extra but still a great price for half a bbq chicken rotissiere. But about the wallet, the employees were extremely kind and eager to give me my wallet back. I have never come across a Mighty Quinn’s employee that wasn’t nice yet.

Now I understand the hype around Mighty Quinn’s — I shared a brisket sandwich with a friend and we were both really impressed with the quality and moisture of the meat cut to order and the fact that they don’t rely on sauce like so many other, lesser BBQ options around NY. I would advise anyone ordering brisket to ask for«half fatty, half lean» so that you can enjoy the flavor from both ends of the meat. In my book this place ranks on par with La Barbecue in Austin which regularly has a queue running 3 hours long. It’s a nice touch to have pickled toppings piled high along the side and they were also quite good, consisting of some half-sour sliced pickles, onions and cabbage. The staff was friendly and there was no wait at all at 6pm on a weekday. Great experience all around.

I love my BBQ, so really wanted to try Mighty Quinn’s. I asked one of the servers for recommendations and he advised if I wanted a sandwich to go with the burnt ends. The sandwich was packed with meat and there was no shortage of sauce. The sandwich was a bit messy to eat, but no surprise there, but maybe not the best thing to eat if you don’t know your fellow diners well! You also get some coleslaw with the sandwich which I was glad of. My only disappointment was the price. For a food court self service meal & no sides or drink I thought over $ 10(with tax) was a lot. It put me off getting any sides as I didn’t want to spend so much on a quick lunch. It is obviously an informal setting, so I’d probably stick to this place for lunch as opposed to an evening meal.

LUSCIOUS! ^_^ I usually don’t like heavy lunches but Mighty Quinn’s Barbeque keeps me craving! I opted for this place when it happened to be the shortest line around noon on a Thursday and people had no more than 5-minutes ago highly recommended this place to me. Funny how things work out ^_~. So here I am, waiting with anticipation and OH-EM-GEE, their sandwiches were absolutely mouthwatering! They give out decent servings as well; I ate half for lunch and half for dinner and was very satisfied. I’ve only tried the following so far: — Brisket Sandwich: BBQ sauce not included so you’ll have to put it on the side but once that’s taken care of, the flavor is amazing. Tender and heavenly! — Pulled Pork Sandwich: BBQ sauce comes with it, enrobing this sandwich with flavor. Take a bite and all the juices will provide your tongue with satisfaction! *Drools* Obviously, I’m coming back — line or no line. :)
