Mighty Brew Bros NY Manhattan LES 2pm Tuesday 15th September 2015 Three Stars I will literally try any place with Nitrogen infused Coffee. So far, there is Stumptown Coffee and places that serve Stumptown coffee. The space is spaciously empty with white bricks walls on one side and glass on the other. The space is for an art installation. The nitro was $ 5 as opposed to the cold brew $ 4. I opted to not use my Cups App and splurge the extra dollar. It came in a 16oz clear plastic cup filled completely with shot glass ice. They poured the coffee from a tap. The color was a lightly cloudy golden copper brown. There was very little foamy bubbles. The coffee was good though. The smooth taste, low acidity, and heavy mouth feel we’re all pluses. The lack of value, lack of seating, and lack of cascading bubbles in my nitro coffee were the reason for the three star review.

I love the drinks here! If you have the Cups app I highly suggest that you should use it. The first drink I tried here was the Hibiscus drink & I got it for free because of the Cups App. The hibiscus drink was sort of tart which I liked. I shouldve added sweetner to it. I give the drink 4 stars. The second drink I tried was the Matcha float. That was a secret menu on instagram so I got it. I had to wait around 20 minutes for the icecream since they just opened the store and the person In charge with the drinks asked me if I would wait since they are low in icecream. It was worth the wait because I really liked the drink. The ice cream is vanilla flavored and it goes well with a matcha drink. The matcha was sweet so it was good combination. The drink had a little fizz to it so it was like a soda drink. I give this drink 5 stars. I love how there is free WiFi here and I like how spacious it is.

I had to take myself here after seeing all those pictures on Instagram. The place is long, all in white with televisions all around. There are limited seating but you can get a great picture in here! I opted for one of the item on their secret menu, the matcha float. They put vanilla ice cream into their matcha soda. I was pleasantly surprised when I first took a bite. It was sweet and fizzy. On another occasion, I ordered the Cold-brew Hibiscus Tea. It was a pleasant drink. Not too sweet and I like the hint of floral taste in it. Everything about this place was wonderful, even the service. But $ 7 for a cup of soda with ice cream inside? Eh… as much as I like their items, I might just get their items every now and then as a treat for myself.

Hubby found this place on IG and we decided to try it one weekend. Got Colada Especial and Matcha Float. Delish and definitely different. Wish the Matcha came in a bigger size, though. We inhaled that thing.

Firstly, come here with the CUPS app! I paid a little more than a dollar for a $ 5 cup of matcha soda. The menu itself is very small, but each item is pretty unique. I immediately had to try the matcha soda because I love matcha so much! And I gotta say, for a seemingly simple recipe of matcha powder and seltzer, it is such a refreshing drink, especially on a hot day. I love that it wasnt too sweet, which allowed the taste to be more authentic. The inside of the café is very narrow, quite small, and few seating. But the décor is cute, minimalist, and hipster. When I went, they were in the process of hanging up colorful abstract paintings that popped on the all-white wall/café. I probably wouldn’t pay $ 5 for a matcha soda, or any of the drinks actually, but the ambience was nice, and the drinks are unique.

I’ve been looking forward to trying their matcha soda, which sounded very interesting to me. I was using the cups app for the first time and the barista/cashier was really nice about it and helped me figure it out. I’m kind of disappointed by the matcha soda though. It’s basically, 1 scoop of matcha powder + water from the sink(I don’t mind but other people might?) + ice + Canada Dry seltzer water for $ 5. It tastes exactly how it sounds. To me, the matcha taste wasn’t very strong; I could barely taste it. It also went flat really quickly so it ends up tasting like flat seltzer with a hint of matcha. I think I’ll try their nitro brew next time. There’s a couple of seating options, but you can’t really bring your laptop to do work here cause the tables are too short. There’s a lot of open space so you could chat comfortable with a friend, but you can’t really being a laptop to do work. The tables are too short, except for one by the window, but it’s more of a standing table since there aren’t any chairs tall enough for it. Even though I’m giving 3 stars, I would still return to their the rest of their menu — they have nitro floats and a piña colada drink that I’d like to try.

Solid 4.5 Great interior, very pretty and lots of white all around! Perfect for pictures. I tried the matcha soda and colada especial and I liked them both! The matcha soda was very interesting and almost tasted sort of like matcha beer(the after taste). The colada especial was supposed to resemble a piña colada coffee and although I didn’t taste it that much, I enjoyed the taste of the coffee and coconut milk combination. Would definitely come back to try the nitro cold brew!

Needed a place to sit while waiting for a friend and this was the perfect spot especially on a humid New York day. Thank goodness for air condition and of course refreshing drinks. The décor is simple and minimalistic with cool wall art. I don’t drink coffee so I ordered the matcha soda and it exactly what I needed. The matcha flavor is strong and definitely mix the drink since all the matcha is at the bottom. You can add your own syrup if you wish at the counter.

Easy to miss since it doesn’t really appear to be a café from the outside.(I’ll admit, I was a bit confused) My CUPS app led me to this wonderful place on a hot day. The address seemed correct, but it looked more like a spacious art gallery than a café. I walked in looking around, and found my way to the counter. The place seemed fairly new since they were still setting up the wall art. I was in search of something refreshing to drink, so I went in ready to order a cold brew, my typical drink. Unfortunately, they were out of cold brew. The adorably happy barista suggested I try their hibiscus iced tea. I was a bit skeptical, since I normally look for a good amount of caffeine on my coffee runs, I ordered the iced tea since I was already there anyways! Surprisingly, it was just what I needed. Definitely recommend this for those that aren’t crazy about coffee. Overall, a great place in LES with an awesome setup. I’ll be back, hopefully to get a cold brew!

This coffee shop is pretty new and you could tell right off the bat. It’s under the WALLPLAY art space, which is very cool and makes it a hang out spot for many hipsters and teens alike. If you’re here for coffee — get the CUPS app! Your first coffee is free! I recommend the nitro cold brew, it’s honestly the best I’ve had compared to other larger coffee shops like Culture Espresso. The coffee is chilled and served over ice on tap! It’s soo smooth and doesn’t have that sour flavor that often follows coffee that’s been sitting out for too long. They also have almond milk here which is an added bonus in itself! The coffee shop is very cool if you need a place to hang out or study. You’re surrounded by art, which really gives the place character! All in all, I’ve made multiple trips here and I just keep coming back — SOWORTH!

My first review but believe me, I love to eat and drink. It seems only fitting that this is my first review. MBB offers nitro cold brew coffee and no this isn’t JUST a gimmick. It offers a smooth and clean finish to how I believe it should be consumed, which is black. My buddy(novice) had it with milk and sugar and he loved it. To each their own. I also brought home the growler just to have the bottle and it too was as smooth as cold brew should be. The taste doesn’t linger and yet satisfies the palate. I anxiously await for their floats and more things to be available. The barista Elieza(I’m def spelling it wrong) was sweet enough to talk to us and inform us of things to come. She was knowledgeable and personable while being open to the many questions we had for her. The interior was simple and had a contemporary feel to it mostly due to the art work and lack of tables. No frills and interesting art, add a sweet barista w/o judgement after taking a few pics of her pouring the nitro and a great cup of nitro w ice in it, you get a euphoric experience. Enjoy!

definitely does not look like a coffee shop from the outside. however, the interior is very instagram-worthy, making it a two for one opportunity. I tried the nitro cold brew, and it was as smooth as butter. they even have almond milk! it is worth the price and visit if you’re in the LES. give it a try instead of the starbucks that’s right around the corner.

Today we are reminding you to BEMIGHTY! Mighty Brew Bros. just took over the coffee portion of WALLPLAY, a conceptual art space. I mean, they have a lego board with their name on it, so you KNOW they are going to be mad cool. They have nitro cold brew on tap. I got a nice explanation from the guys about this. Nitrogen is infused into the keg with the coffee in a process akin to that of draft beer the coffee gets this cool, creamy texture and flavor. Plus it looks really cool! Everyone is super friendly, and they currently have awesome vegan donuts from Cake Thieves. The guys are going to do some awesome summer concoctions, including iced matcha and possibly a «colada especial» — cold brew, coconut milk with pineapple syrup… um, can I get a hell yes? Say hi to Tuna Fish, the tiny blue fish in the fish tank.
