ITNEEDSTOCLOSE! ******************** This is the WORST – I cannot emphasize this enough – WORST experience I’ve had at ANY store, ever. I’d give it negative stars if I could. This story gets increasingly worse, so bear with me. I’m hoping that sharing will help prevent other people from wasting their time and losing a whole lot of patience and money. I walk in, the guy at the counter has one other person there, and he’s not efficient because he keeps yelling from one end of the store to argue with the guy in the back room. I come in, pick out a phone. He asked if I was paying cash or credit(it was cash), and says the phone is $ 100 flat. The sign says $ 70. I ask about it, he says that’s a promotional price for new customers. I didn’t think about it too much, then he gets pushy about me buying a really cheap phone case. I say I don’t want it and he gives it to me anyway. As more customers come in, I notice there’s a running argument between him and EVERYSINGLE customer around a discrepancy between the service/good and the charges. I walk out for – I’m not exaggerating – MAYBE three minutes and turn back around, noticing he hadn’t given me a receipt. I ask for a receipt. He can’t give me one and provides 5 different stories about the printer having issues, that’s the honest-to-goodness price of the phone, and trying to guilt-trip me about coming back in, blah blah blah, as he’s trying to fabricate receipts for me. After throwing away 5 or 6 of them(not letting me see them), I finally say that if I can’t get an accurate receipt, I want my money back. He begins to yell arguments at me about how he tried to cut me a deal, how he was so nice he even gave me a free phone case, etc. etc. I stick with«I want my money back» after listening to him yell for 15 minutes and becoming very frustrated. He FLATOUTREFUSES to give me a REFUND. I ask for his name, he says«Mike,» and I could tell he was making it up. He gives me two different receipts, one says the attendant’s name is «Hassan» and the other one says«Ezechial» and neither of them accurately reflect what he says the costs are. This guy is a shameless liar. THEN he says he’s not allowed to because the sale is final. He NEVER mentioned that BEFORE I bought the phone. When other customers tried to back me up, he began yelling and cussing at them, too. I called the cops. They couldn’t help. *****UPDATE***** I walked into another MetroPCS store, found the exact same phone, asked the attendant about the price for an upgrade for existing customers, including taxes and all – $ 70.
