I rented a tux from them when I was in New York for a wedding this past June and I have literally never had a group of individuals help me that have ALL been so nice, friendly and outgoing! From the minute I walked in, to the minute I walked out, everyone was so attentive and willing and able to answer every question I had. I wish I remembered the names of some of the associates that helped me because they were fantastic. When I came back the following day to return the tux, the store employees remembered me and made the return process extremely quickly. A few of them even inquired about the wedding that I had attended. The staff made me feel like my business was very important! I will be back from all future events in NYC. :)

This will be the first of the 2 reviews. So last Sunday, the kids and I went to Men’s Wearhouse because I felt like it was about that time to get a new suit. Of course I went on the day they had a Buy one Get one deal. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a «wardrobe consultant» or whatever. All he asked was«Are you here to buy a suit?» and that was it. He helped me pick out 4 suits and a pair of brown allen edmond shoes. I’m not a shopper at all so this was definitely an experience for me. I got measured for all 4 suits, matched up with 4 shirts and 4 ties. Then I decided to get 2 more pairs of shoes and a belt. I spent more than I expected but this amount of attention I received from the door was excellent. Helped throughout the entire buying process. I am going to pick up the suits this weekend. I’ll update this review with the way these suits fit me. I’m hoping for the best with this.

My husband ordered a suit online; he had it delivered to this store, tried it on and had alterations done. The salespeople were helpful and courteous — giving good advice without applying any pressure. We’ll shop here again.

I went to this location to buy a suit a couple months ago and I ended up paying more than I intended because the salesman told me a different price then it was when he rang it up. The seam on the seat of the pants(an in-store alteration) only lasted a couple hours. Today I tried to return the suit because I was not happy with it and the manager told me that it could not be returned because it was altered/worn. When I politely disagreed he told me he would take it back but that«the company owns the clothes not me.» The return policy states that if I’m not completely satisfied I am entitled to a return and in the case of an altered/worn suit it is at the store manager’s discretion. He claimed it was the company’s decision not his. I was very polite in the store when attempting to resolve the issue but because this is essentially dishonest and poor customer service I contacted corporate about the location by email. Do not shop here. Go to a different location, or better yet, a different company.

Where do I start, first the staff tries to sell you the most expensive suite and of course the free suite is halve the price. I ended up spending almost a thousand dollars they give me one suite in a plastic cheap garment bag. Two and a halve weeks latter I go back to pick up my second suite that was being altered by the tailor that’s on location and I ask the sales person would you please put my suite in a non plastic garment bag and she said she would check if they have any because they run out. She comes back again with a plastic garment. So i go On the web site and write to them and guess what, no reponse no please come and get your deserved paid garment bags for your suites. This is unacceptable After spending that kind of money they bag it in a plastic bag really. Listen this is new york city with thousands of places that sell suites with better garment bags…

It really depends on the salesperson. Lately the sales people have been about as unhelpful as you can get.

I really like mens wearhouse clothes, but this place is horrible. The manager there is horrible. He speaks to costumers like they are idiots, and refuse to give service after you paid. All they care is to close a deal and you collect their commission. But once you paid, there’s no body to talk to if there’s any problem. Stay away from this place and do you self a favor — go to a different mens wearhouse store.

Met with Harry. He tried to make me feel like an idiot for thinking they had Calvin Klein suits for less than $ 650 at the store, even though I had seen scores on the website for $ 300, then he fit me in a super slim suit in 46 although Im a 44. Looked terrible. I am not a slim guy. Real loser. Makes me want to never visit another Men’s Wearhouse. They should fire this guy.

Joe Vargas is amazing and keeps me going back over and over again. He is patient and has learned my sense of style, saving me time. He often goes and finds what looks good on me; he ends up doing the legwork and I just hand my credit card over. They go out of their way to order me anything I want that they don’t have in stock(different size/color/etc). Like I said, the top notch customer service and decent prices keep me coming back over and over. I’ll never shop for men’s clothing at an impersonal department store again. I like being able to come back and have the same guy helping me almost every time with a smile on his face. The others at the place are helpful, but just not quite at top notch as Joe, IMHO. Ask for Joe. :)
