Please do not come here to have clothes repaired or altered. They do not deliver and will damage your clothes. AND the doofus behind the counter is rude, cocky, and unprofessional.
I brought in two items: a sweater that had a small hole in the back and a dress that I needed let out. When I dropped off the items, the jokester behind the counter told me they’d be ready by Thursday evening. When I came in Thursday evening neither items had been touched.
The doofus told me to wait and the sweater would be done in a few minutes. So, I waited. Finally he gives me the sweater back and I find that there are a few extra stitches above where the damage was — very, very, sloppy job! I could have probably hand sew it better myself! When I bring this to his attention he is defensive a rude. He then tells me he will no longer let out my dress! So childish! What a joke!
Also, this place only excepts cash so that’s annoying too. DON’T COME HERE

The front door sign, showing a 7 AM opening time, was still locked behind the gate at 7:40 AM. Either fix the sign and the listed opening time here on Unilocal,or show up on time. This is NYC. Punctuality matters.

Rolando is the best, super friendly and provides great customer service. I absolutely trust them with all of my dry cleaning.

Hands down best in the area. Actually I’ve been using them for 2 years and never had an issue. I find them to be top notch in price, customer service (extra friendly and personable), and quality service. I lived in Manhattan for 10 years in the rank in the too 3 for your standard dry cleaning and washing services.

They do my laundry and my dry cleaning all the time, and my tailoring when I eff up some item of clothing or buy something that doesn’t necessarily, actually, technically fit.
Same day service, high quality, my laundry doesn’t come back smelling strongly of summer rain or lavender fields, and the prices are in line with the competition. No complaints. And the kid who works the counter is super sweet and wears fun t-​shirts, so bonus.

I’ve used McMb a few times and they’ve been great but this time they really proved themselves in terms of customer service. I gave them a bunch of items on a Saturday, asking for them to be ready for Tuesday. I said I only needed one of the many ready by Tuesday and they assured me that everything would be ready by Tuesday after 6pm. I called on Tuesday around 12pm just to see (if by any chance) the items were ready early. Every item except the one I needed was done and they were apologetic (which was totally unnecessary b/​c I called really early and it wasn’t their fault). It ended up being ready by the predicted time they gave me on Saturday and they called to let me know. I have to commend them for how great they were with dealing with my incessant calls and need for reassurance. They didn’t treat me like I was a bother, which (let’s face it) in NYC happens ALL the time if you ask ONCE. They were actually apologetic when they didn’t need to be and could not have been more gracious (again, when they told me it would be ready by 6pm and they have this annoying girl calling at 12pm and 4pm). They called me immediately when my clothes were ready.
Not only do they do a great job on your clothes but they are a great bunch of guys who really care about your experience. Coming from CA, where I knew my dry cleaner well, I don’t feel like I’m losing any quality or customer service with these guys. Really really great customer service and product. Recommend them HIGHLY!

Great, friendly, helpful staff! Terrific cleaning service! What more could you want in a cleaners? Oh, yeah… superb tailoring, too. I’ve had two suits, tux and two sport coats taken in/​altered, and every time, they deliver a perfect fit and impeccable workmanship for a very reasonable price, and saved me from having to replace all those very nice clothes after P90X!

I’ve been a customer of MCMB cleaners for 4 years now. They are one of the kindest and friendliest businesses in our entire neighborhood. Their customer service is only exceeded by their quality of work. Especially Rolando and Alberto who always have a smile on their face and genuinely care about their customers. On top of that they also have great pick up and delivery service. I highly recommend them to anyone in our Harlem/​Morningside Heights neighborhood.

I’ve always been really happy with McMb Cleaners and the staff but they really surpassed expectations recently when they were able to remove a VERY large red wine stain from a delicate top. I didn’t think I’d be able to wear it again but McMb has ensured that the top will be in my wardrobe a lot longer! Thanks McMb!

I freaking love this place. They are so friendly and do a great job. I tried them recently because I was becoming very unhappy with the cleaners I was using before (ahem express) and will definitely be going back.
