My wife went to Dr. Diaz for her annual flu shot. The secretary as well as the doctor repeatedly asked her if she wanted any blood tests done without stating a reason. Also, the doctor asked my wife where she is from which is perfectly ok. However, she followed it up by asking her if she wears a veil. I think that was quite unprofessional of her and also a little racist! We are definitely not going back here.

Upon my initial visit for a yearly check-up it went pretty well. Then I got a bill from my healthcare provider and while trying to get the Dr to help, it turned into a headache. I left her a message, which I never heard back from. Then a week later while following up I had to wait until the next day for her to return my call. I begin to ask her questions and she seemed bothered by my call. At one point – when I asked her a question about her experience with my healthcare provider – she said this was«wasting her time.» NEVER will I go back to this woman.

Finding a good doctor in NYC can be a nightmare – luckily, a friend pointed me towards Dr Diaz. I started seeing her when I was unemployed, and she helped me out, whereas many doctors in personal practices were turning me away. She takes her time to understand your health issues and really gets to know you. If she thinks you need further specialized diagnosis, she’ll recommend someone(which is how I found my otolaryngologist – I have chronic sinus issues.) Would definitely recommend her.

I really liked Dr. Diaz. She took her time to go over concerns with me. The physical and first time visit includes an EKG to make sure everything is ok. When you need referrals she personally calls the specialists’ office to let them know a patient of hers will be coming over. She helps you get appointments with specialists a lot quicker than you’d be able to by yourself. She is affiliated with Mt. Sinai hospital. Consult is normally $ 75 or so w/o insurance and she will give you med samples if she has them so you don’t have to purchase. Sometimes they can see you same day if its urgent and you’re not a first time patient. Very few drs take the time to listen to your concerns…
