Open 24 hours is a big plus in my book since I work different hours in my work week. The staff is friendly since I started going there over 2 years ago and remains the same till this day(may not seem like it when you look at them, but they are friendly). The price is ok not the best but ok. You have a buffet there for lunch and dinner along with a grill for hot and cold sandwiches. Not overly packed except during lunch especially with construction all over the place, but with quick service it isn’t so bad.

Good selection of packaged snacks. Hot sandwich of chicken breast w mwlted mozzarella on a roll for $ 6.25 was a huge disappointment. Chicken was dry and leathery and somehow greasy. Thought I’d write a review to issue a fair warning to other unsuspecting folks looking for a sandwich.

Large neighborhood deli with good selection of beers, breakfast sandwiches and more. Even better is the fact they deliver at all hours with a smile. Nice people! Great when you run short of something late in the evening!

The guy who cooks the food has a major attitude. He is rude and nasty. The women in the store are just as nasty. One of the women who I believe is in charge was seen dusting around the food bar, how gross. I would not go here again and they do not even have a letter grade posted in their window as they should. Also the food is not either.

Gets two stars just for being open 24⁄7. Pretty large bodega that is like a mini-mart. Be prepared to pay a lot more for the same items you can find in the Key Food right down the street. I guess that is the price you pay for the convenience of being able to shop for some things late at night when stumbling home from a bar. Actually has a decent beer selection, deli that you can get late night sandwiches, hot coffee, grocery items, etc. Dropped in here last night for a late night snack. $ 7 for a pint of ice cream? Go EFF yourself! Total ripoff! I’m not that drunk to realize this is cray cray!

Open 24⁄7 so this place already gets 2 stars, another star for the staff who are always curtious and make a point to help you get in and out quickly– while at the same time they dont mind if youre in no rush and want to peak around and do some shopping. They have a mini deli which makes my now-favorite grinder– the Manhattan which has ham, turkey, bologna and provolone with all the fixing which is perfectly paired with one of their huge deli pickles. This feeds me for two days and comes to 6.50. They have a salad bar as well which has fresh salads/fixings as well as warm prepared foods. I have tried pretty much everything and love it all. I do have to admit the chicken is often dry but thats to be expected from a buffett. The prices are a bit steep as expected from a 24 hour NYCUES convienence store, but not horrible and there are some hidden gems as well if youre willing to look. They have snack packs of roasted seaweed which i love– and can not locate anywhere else. As well as they have a large array of international goodies that i love looking through and trying new items. The prices are not bad on these items either(read: comparable). They have an ATM on site as well as a bit of grocery shopping and a large array of drinks and ice cream.

I love this place for being open 24⁄7 and indulging my late night snack desires. I even drunkenly stumbled upon the deli section one night at around 3:30/4 am and ordered a philly cheese steak, which was good. They also have standard buffet fare, but it could get pricey. The only one big con for this place is that everything is pretty expensive. If you can, shop elsewhere for basic groceries.

I don’t think I knew the name of this grocery store until I saw it on my credit card activity a few times and tried to retrace my steps from your average weekend night stupor. It is right around the corner from where I live on 2nd Ave, next to the huge magazine store you’ve all walked past on your way back from the 96th St Station, and has a solid selection of refrigerated beer, which, unfortunately, Key Foods right across the street does not. They even are still carrying Becks Oktoberfest which, considering it’s January, is excellent. I agree with the other review that the beer is overpriced somewhat, but I take comfort in not looking at the price and just using a credit card to avoid remembering the day when you could get a case of beer for ten to fifteen dollars… They also have other assorted grocery items, but I can’t vouch for that side of the store.

The local deli for the UES/Second Ave/Normandie Court crowd. I don’t think this place has ever closed its doors. I’ve only had breakfast sandwiches from the deli counter, but they do them well. I buy Snapple here alot. I also buy Sriracha and soy sauce, and chips, and Andy capp fries and anything else you decide you need when drunk and tired. Taco Bell and Ray’s Pizza right next door make for a lethally good drunk stumble up the block. The beer is a bit overpriced, but that’s standard for this type of store, and hey, you can get it at 5am if you want. Even the homeless guy that sits outside has charm. I’ll miss this place someday.
