Love this place. Been coming here for years. Everyone is friendly and like a family. They always want to make sure your happy with the color mixing and texture type for the hair. Knowledgeable about product for whatever look you are trying to create. Go to resource in New York for premium hair and know what they are doing. I’ve seen people come in from all over (international) to buy their product.

I’ve been coming here for years. I usually get the soft wavy which is a looser curl and looks nice in the summer time. Every time I come here all of the employees are very helpful and professional. Although, they are kind of expensive, I still continue to come here. I travel all the way from Yonkers which is worth the trip for quality hair.

Gone down over the years, used to love the service but since hurricane sandy the business hasn’t had the same service. No weekend shipping and now you have to submit a whole lot of credit card info. that I think is unnecessary. Started buying from this instead of the lugo in the 718 because they were rude, brash and the customer service sucked. This slightly similar business is going the same route.

I am just not impressed actually I am disappointed with the hair that I received and later had installed. I have never had something so DRY and sheds the way this hair does. I had to get the hair thinned out because it was so bulky and I lost so much hair; weight in my hair as a result of it not being properly done when the man customized the blend.
I didn’t give it 1 star because I liked the fact that its customizable and another because its close to my office but I will not waste my time or money coming back to this establishment again. I was warned and I went to Lugos because of their long standing history and they are priced more reasonable but moving forward I will definitely spend the extra money and go to another Brand more likely Indique.
Ladies and gents, please take my review and seriously reconsider.

The staff is very knowledgable but they also seem sort of bossy. I was talked into buying 8oz of hair although my hairdresser told me I would probably only need 6oz. The woman at Lugo’s was insistent that if I got 6, I’d be back for the other 2oz.
They have a terrible return policy (that I also wasn’t aware of). It was less than 24 hours after I bought the hair that I realized how much I hate wearing weaves (I later chopped off most of my hair and bleaced what was left). Of course, Lugo’s won’t accept the $ 346.80 worth of hair back for a return. Now I’m stuck with 8oz of human hair I have never used and never will use. Anyone interested in taking it off of my hands?

The first review! Well I couldn’t resist. Ive been to this location (its by my job) and the East Village location. Me personally I don’t get much hair like 1 to 2 oz here and there of Spanish Wavy. I’m transitioning to natural hair and refuse to do a Big Chop so I place a couple tracks here and there so I can get up and go and not have to worry about my hair. If I had to buy 8 to 10 oz of hair this place would be super pricey. I get so little it doesn’t completely break my pockets. 1 oz is 22 to $ 25 dollars. That’s the only treason I give it 3 stars. I do like the fact its open on Saturdays and you can order custom hair and get it the same day unlike Adorables. Also, Ladies and a few gents this location is cleaner then the other Manhattan location.
