Not really a review because I didn’t buy anything. I just thought it would be useful to provide a perspective on the place.
I walked in there today hoping to find some good steaks. Maybe they had good steaks, but I couldn’t tell because there weren’t any signs, except for the prices. Probably if you’d been shopping there (or someplace like it) for years you’d know everything on sight, but I’m not that sophisticated. I’d like to be a knowledgeable local at a place like this but I’m not so it doesn’t work for me.
The upside: Not gentrified. Prices are pretty good. Nice selection of good, basic foods. One annoyance: I was wanting a candy bar but they were hidden away in an unmanned booth. So I walked out without buying anything.
