Terrible management and customer service practices. Filed a complaint with corporate office.

The exact location of this store is on 6^th ave & corner of 49^th street. Google/​Yelp location is off. If you’re buying MATERNITY stuff online — BEWARE — those items can ONLY be returned via mail. Don’t bother bringing them to the store. I did this last night & the rude sales clerk annoyingly told me that they don’t accept returns of maternity stuff in the stores and that I should of read the back of my receipt. Most retarded policy ever (considering that I’d have to pay for return shipping).

Closes earlier than some of the other stores around the area, but store associates were very nice and patient when I asked them to check if they have another necklace in the backroom. Also I took forever trying to figure out the gift card reward points situation and the cashier was very understanding. On the smaller side, but easily accessible.

Attitude Problem! I’ve been to this place twice and both time I had issue with sales clerk. Unresponsive and rude. I don’t want to be treated like this when I’m spending money. One of them actually flicked my ID card at me. Wow. This store is in dire need of quality control.

AT Loft sometimes has a few pieces that I could use to match with my majority AT wardrobe, but it’s hard, sometimes you really have to take time to pick them out.
I also don’t think the quality of many AT Loft is good enough, even though the price could be quite high if they are not running any sales event. It’s ok to come here once in a while for fun, but I won’t miss it either.

Upon walking up to the register at Ann Taylor Loft on 49^th btwn 5^th and 6^th at 3:40pm on Friday (2÷7÷2014), I informed the associate that I would like to have my 6 items price checked prior to having them rung up. This request was made due to the fact that I had selected these items from areas that featured signs, which read «Additional 40% off» or FINAL SALE at $ 14.99, and I wanted to know the exact cost in dollars & cents of my items before making my final decision on their purchase. Instead of scanning the items and telling me how much they cost. The associate proceeded to go through my 6 items while looking at the price tags stating to me that «item X is (Insert amount on price tag) plus 40% off» or that «item X is $ 14.99». Not only was that the improper way to give a price check; when he actually scanned the items that I agreed to purchase the pricing information that he had given me was incorrect. Also when he rung up a pair of pants that I had gotten from a rack that donned one of the «additional 40% off» signs as well, and I asked him about the lack in price decrease he raised the price tag up and exclaimed to me «THESE PANTS WERE ORIGINALLY SEVENTY DOLLARS».
This experience later went from bad to worse when I took a look at my receipt when I got home… only to find out that I had been overcharged for two pairs of pants. There are 2 pairs of pants on my receipt that were supposed to be $ 14.99 Final Sale, which I was actually charged $ 19.88 Final Sale. So not only did I have to bear their associate’s extreme rudeness and unwillingness to provide apt customer service during my purchase, I am now saddled with the huge inconvenience of having to take an hour and fifteen minute train ride (in this horrible weather) back to this store to get a refund for these items before the sale ends in order to avoid the hassle of trying to get a refund at a later date. Sadly, prior to my arrival at the register I had a great experience in this store as well as in past visits.
On my receipt the associate’s information is listed as Associate: 26 Desk Associate: 333 749.

This LOFT location is NOT where Unilocal says it is. I made the stupid mistake of travelling to this location TWICE… it is NOT here. Their phone number listed is also for a dead line. My friend mentioned that it MIGHT one or two streets over, but t’s not in this location and anyone I asked in the area has no idea where it could be. GRRRR Unilocal!

They always seem to have really nice stuff on sale when I stop in (which is often… «Not so great day at work? TIME FOR RETAIL THERAPY»)
The sales people are really friendly and helpful, the store is really neat and easy to navigate through. Plus the fitting rooms aren’t tiny little closets, like in other stores…

The Loft is a great store for on trend work clothes at an affordable price. This location has moved closer to Rockefeller Center, so they get a good amount of foot traffic but still are able to keep a variety of sizes and styles in-​stock. I like the ease of stopping in after work to browse, especially on pay day! The sales people are friendly but not pushy, which makes for an easy and relaxed shopping experience. The store is frequently featuring discounts and promotions, which takes their prices even lower. I’ve always received great customer service here and compliments on the items I’ve purchased. Thanks for making me look great a work Loft!

I go to this store not just for its basic fashions and it its located across from my workplace.
I like to simple professional style clothing, pricing is to be challenged but its fair game here in the area. I love their sweaters and white dress shirts. I cannot buy any of their pants because of sizing issues. I mean who are they fitting? Those pants are cut very bad.
My best bet is to buy things when they are on sale. Its not worth the full price for these clothing.

This is for the Ann Taylor Loft at 52^nd and Madison, which is much better than the one on 6^th Avenue. Clothes vary by season, but are always good for the office. More importantly, things go on sale/​are marked down quickly, so you rarely have to pay full price for things here, if you’re willing to stop by occasionally.
The Madison/​52^nd street store is particularly good – half the basement is for sale items, both regular and petite sizes.

Good place for petites that need to purchase clothes for the office. A typical selection, but the fit is good and I’ve been surprised how many items can be tossed in the washing machine. Inexpensive compared to many of the department stores, too.

Avoid this one during lunch hour since it’s in midtown and near so many businesses. They tend to run out of smaller sizes fast.
