Came in from New Orleans and Spent the day in NYC while visiting family in Pennsylvania. Wish I had more time to try other places but this was awesome pizza! Was so good that as I was leaving NYC, I picked up another 2 slices before I caught my train.

The pizza took an hour and a half to arrive. Upon arrival, the pizza was condensed into a ball on the side of the boxes(obviously the delivery guy held them sideways). Pizza arrived soggy. Not going back, ever.

It’s hot in this little pizza place. It’s mostly clean, but it’s a little worn. It’s right by MSG, so it’s hard to really fault them for that. It’s hot, though. Doesn’t matter if it’s summer or winter. The pizza itself is edible. I imagine most NY natives scoff at it, but it’s good for a very quick bite to eat. It’s another place that probably isn’t ideal for tourists, but if you work in the area and you’re curious, give it a whirl, I lived to tell this story. It’s really not that bad. Just not awesome. Pizza snobs will not like it.

At 1am, after just missing the second to last train to Jersey, with the craving for a slice of pizza, after having a good amount of drink then wondering why you even live in Jersey and not NYC yet, this place was right on.

Their 2 plain slices and a 20 oz drink for $ 5 is tempting but I didn’t feel to great afterwards. The pizza is super greasy and you’ll have to add a god amount of condiments to enjoy the taste.

A decent slice, alright price. However, when I didn’t tip them, they muttered under their breath«No tip today, huh?» And I saw on the other receipts people were tipping them. First of all, don’t be rude. Second of all, if you expected a tip then just charge a more expensive price. I’m pretty sure people don’t tip at Sbarro. And this place isn’t better looking or have better service than Sbarro. Please someone tell me why people tip here.

It’s attached to the Hotel Pennsylvania, so it’s address is the same as the hotel. The restaurant is facing 33rd street, where the BOLT buses line up. The slices are a little cheaper than other places, they use the regular thin slice, the place can seat about 10 – 15. It’s a small place so it’s better to just take your pizza and sit at MSG and hang out. Ideal when you’re on a budget or on your way to get on a bus to Boston.
