I’ve eaten here since 2009, never thought to write a review until today! I visited the spot for lunch after being away for nearly 3 years. If you want an authentic home cooked meal for lunch, this is your spot! Made with love. Reasonably priced.

A wonderful little spot just beside the Lexington &116th street subway. The food is absolutely delicious, with some of the best pernil you’ll find in East Harlem, and the experience is rounded out by an extremely warm and welcoming staff behind the counter.

It’s a «hole in the wall» luch counter eatery but, how cute is it that 3 older women are cooking you’re tasty eats right before your eyes. My favorite this is the pressed ham & cheese or ham, egg & cheese for breakfast. If you want breakfast get there at least 10 minutes before 11AM(I have not gotten served my breakfast request because, it was lunch time). if all of the stools are filled it’s standing room only but, hey we adjust for good stuff!
