ASTORIA, NY
This fish market is one of the few fried fish places left in NYC. Trust me, I’ve been looking.
They pile the fish sandwiches high, fried to a crisp in oil, the middle is still soft and flaky. Smooshed between two pieces of bread along with tartar sauce, lemon sauce, and hot sauce this will hit the spot any time of day.
They also offer crab sticks, scallops, crab cakes and so on. Cant choose? Get a sampler at that is cheaper than most meals.
