I work right across the street from here and 4 out of 5 times, I usually enjoy eating here. Nothing that special but will do. Affordable and really yummy sandwiches. I always complain that there’s too much egg in their breakfast sandwiches but I’m sure that can work from some. Anyway, if you happen to be in the neighborhood and want to grab a quick breakfast or lunch, you should stop by. Really friendly staff too :)

Great customer service every time I visit. I’m picky about my custom salads and this place doesn’t skip a beat with being super nice and accommodating.

apparently they are incapable of substitutions. This is the second time I have experienced a problem. Today switching out coleslaw for lettuce means no Russian dressing so I have a dry sandwich. Sigh…

Chloe and her team are phenomenal. They know my name and order every time I walk through the door. I have never seen a person like Chloe work so hard to ensure her customers are satisfied. Great customer service!

I go to Lenny’s because it’s close to my office. Nine out of ten times, I order the same thing: the Novacado(usually on a wrap). It’s my favorite sandwich on the menu, which has many options. The salads are okay, but I’d rather go elsewhere for that. The bread seems pretty fresh and the ingredients are of pretty good quality. I think the service here is really lacking. Too slow. I also don’t understand why only the people at the register can call out your name when the sandwich is ready and you have already paid for it. I’ve seen orders just pile up ready to go waiting for the cashier to finish their transactions, meanwhile other staff is just standing around. Lastly, prices are average.

This place has decent sandwiches but I find the employees don’t really care to work there. The place closes at 7pm and on 3 separate occasions I have been told I can’t order because they are closed when in reality it was either: — 6:50pm — 6:46pm — 6:49pm If you are going to write on your door that you close at 7pm then let me order until 7pm. if you want to go home earlier and start cleaning up early, then let your customers know that you close at 6:30.

Slowest most inefficient staff on earth. 6 employees and 1 works at half speed. No line and it’s a 15 min turkey sandwich

The staff is rude, inefficient and slow. I walked in and ordered a sandwich at 12:50. It’s now 1:10 and I still don’t have my sandwich. AVOID!!!

This place is my go to lunch spot. For salads and sandwiches, you can’t find a better deal. If you order delivery you may have a different experience, but every time I come in here I have fantastic service. The salads are full and reasonably priced compared to the likes of a Chop’t and Sweet Green, where you’re paying for the«organic» and«trendy» salads. I’m usually in and out in 10 mins, but the food is still fantastic.

I come here all the time as my office is near by. The service is great and love how they always say hi and know my name. Keep it up guys!

Of all the Lenwich locations I’ve been to, this is the best. Someone should give Chloe a raise because she holds it down! Fast, accurate, and tasty.

I had the classic chicken sandwich on a whole wheat bagel. Nothing special. The chicken was a tad dry & the sandwich was bland. Maybe add some mustard or something. I did like the roasted red peppers on the sandwich.

Popped in this morning to the cleanest, nicest, quickest Lenwich. The staff was very polite, the food was fresh and fast and the store was a nice amount of seating to sit and relax. Great place

I’ll start this off by saying the sandwhich seem decently priced. Other than that it’s just a step up from subway. The way to order is very confusing you have to go to the back of the store to order but not pay. You pay before you get your food called and then wait. It’s a dumb system. Plus there are items they offer that aren’t displayed. I noticed that they have soup but nothing on the menu indicates that they do.

UPDATE: 2 weeks now bacon has stayed away from my homefries — happy! The crew here is fantastic, love ‘em. But no matter how many times I ask, the kitchen cannot make home-fries without bacon fat. Three days in a row now I have thrown out a full order of home-fries because of the taste of bacon. You see I have been a vegetarian now for over forty years, and I am sure where ever these Lenny’s cooks learned to cook, they never learned about what is vegetarian. I am going to have to reevaluate where my breakfast comes from, the super nice and friendly front staff at Lenny’s(but bacon tainted) or the surly people down the street, but never any bacon in my home-fires. Surly may win out after all. Feeling so nauseous right now, after only two bites of the Lenny’s bacon-fat infused home-fries. Hey, I am sure some people love the bacon fat, and for them it’s a bonus.

Lenwich by Lenny’s is fine, nothing memorable. Typical chain fare. Huge bagels which are calorie bombs. Get the whole wheat bread instead.

I ordered a chicken Cesar salad with BALSAMICVINEGAR. I waited 30mins for my delivery. But my problem was actually that I ordered over the phone today and the woman over the phone was completely nasty! I asked for balsamic vinegar as a dressing. I called because I received Cesar dressing and the response I got was amazing«okay you didn’t say anything about balsamic vinegar but whatever I’m not going to argue with you. I’ll send you another order but I need the food back and I don’t know when it’s going to get there because I don’t have delivery guys» I told her she could have the food back that was fine. However I hope she doesn’t give it to someone else I don’t think that’s up to New York health code. I also don’t know what kind of customer service that was considering she gave me the wrong thing. She was the same girl who took the order. I will not be ordering from here again.

Addendum to my bad review: I must have had a bad sandwich. Having had other menu items and their catering, my opinion has changed. Still pricey, but I will say it’s worth your money. I’m now a fan. Way to convince me, Mr. Lenwich!

The rest of you reviewers sound like a bunch of haters. I like to go anywhere in New York City where they will call me by my first name and take the initiative to actually get to know their customer so I don’t have to repeat that I want a large hazelnut black coffee every morning. These women have a lot of personality and their customer service is on point. I generally go here for breakfast 3 to 5 days out of five days of my work week, lol. Why you ask? Because I’m A sucker for the«hi Natalie, large iced hazelnut coffee, black?» Yes, Kimberly you beautiful girl, you’ve aced it. Whenever any of the staff would like to move on from slangin sandwiches I am sure they will make amazing employees anywhere. These women(the front area greeting staff/cashiers) are very accommodating, go the extra mile, work very hard and legitimately look like they enjoy what they’re doing. Kudos ladies, keep up the impeccable work.

Do you love waiting 19 min for your breakfast sandwich? Then asking 17 times for ketchup, but still having it forgotten? After overpaying by about $ 3? All the while watching 97 useless sandwich makers scurry around like they are solving world hunger, but really it is taking longer to produce a BEC than its taken de blasio to finish the second avenue subway line? Well if you love all of these things, then Lenwich is for you! And trust me, at this rate, it will be all for you — as any hungry New Yorker that’s ever dipped their toesies into this recently renamed deli of doom definitely agree with me.

The customer service here is stellar. Deziree, Seldy, Kimberly, and Karen were amazing to our group. We were definitely high maintenance this morning, scattered and unsure about what we wanted. They were very patient and attentive. It was a great experience which far surpassed our expectations going in. I would definitely return just to see these ladies.

If you’re sitting at your desk around lunch time and think«I really want some things in between bread but don’t want them to taste like anything» then get your ass to Lenwich/Lenny’s and order anything. The descriptions on the menu will make you think«wow that’s a lot of flavorful toppings» but then you bite into it and realize you’ve been pranked and pranked good. I don’t know what the machine is called that sucks the flavor out of turkey and ham so they taste like blank meat sponges but kudos to Lenny’s for inventing it. Not even sriracha can fix these layers of cardboard with mayo on them. I’m probably going to forget about this review in a couple years and go through this debacle again.

Cashiers who take your order have an attitude and need to learn math. Saddened by the state of education– I went in to get a 1⁄3 of pound of chicken salad and the cashier said we can’t do that– I said yes you can, they do it at other Lenny’s and added that you type in .33. She said we don’t give anything less than a quarter of a pound; I said 1⁄3 is more than ¼ — she got really frustrated and typed in ¾ and gave me the receipt. I noted that it was wrong and she ran to the back and asked the other girl to do it. Neither of them knew fractions or how to deal with customers. I ended up with a quarter(.25) – not my one third. Then the women where you pay almost gave me the ¾ lb order and swore it was mine. Incompetent.

everything tastes better when you don’t have to make it yourself. never short on delis, nyc has one on every corner, but not every one is clean, large enough to sit in and reminds me of the sandwiches i would get back home on long island. they shred the lettuce, people. a small detail, but appreciated. lennys is around the city. you can go into any of them and know you’re eating better than the sketchy delis around town.

Correct address but wrong/old name of Every single staffer greeted me, the only patron, at 4:15ish on a weekday. Redeemed $ 2 credit they tossed at me for a surprisingly decent B&W cookie. BTW it’s at 459 Park Ave S, not 429. Transaction Amount $ 2.25 Credit Applied — $ 2.00 Total Spent $ 0.25

New outpost of the Lenny’s sandwich chain that recently opened up close to where I work. They carry a nice selection of their normal signature favorites sandwiches, made to order salads, snacks, and drinks. They also offer breakfast here too. Nice to know I can grab an egg whites sandy, oatmeal, and coffee to power up the start of my work day. Gotta eat my carbs and protein, brah! Bright, clean, and shiny new sandwich nook mainly for takeout with a few tables to sit at. Dropped in today to grab a sandwich and was satisfied. Nice staff here too. Serves up another option for lunch in the area with all the businesses around here.

The assembly of a sandwich outside the home at a chain breakfast and lunch location ranks at the bottom of my reviewing pleasures. The mediocrity of the points of interest I work to discover are dull to write about, it seems like there’s never a flavor inspire the flow of thought, IE: the typical chained emotion. The All Time Favorites menu complete with the perfectly balanced meats, cheeses and vegetables reads well, as does the remaining menu of photo lacking descriptive sandwich choices. Uniquely distinguishable selections under the HomeStyle section created a mental note to return to one of the fifteen such Lenwich locations, stretching from 83rd all the way down to Water Street. A quick selection of C-5 located below the sub heading of Cold Cuts was quickly in my bag along with a reasonably priced small black coffee($ 1.65) that accompanied me to Penn Station. I tipped the guy a buck for the double cup he provided with a smile, without my requesting one. Prosciutto with fresh mozzarella, Granny Smith Apple, roasted red peppers and mesclun well balanced within the tightly wrapped spinach tortilla. #yum Upon exiting the spacious, glass encased sammie shop, I’m still perplexed over the fascination of a few easily thrown together ingredients, prepared in under two minutes and the borderline viral following.

Like JOEY on Friends, I LOVE sandwiches. Bye Bye Fancy Guy and Gallard, Hello LENNYS. I don’t really eat out too often at work, but I was in a rush today and forgot my salad so I figured we’d go grab a bite. My LENWICH on whole wheat was great — a good serving of meat, but it wasn’t all sloppy and falling out, great, crunchy veggies, and a nice dressing. I bet the sammy would have been even better if I had asked them to toast the bread, but I didn’t think of it till after. Service was fast and friendly — although I wasn’t sure what to do with the bag after I paid, but there was no one there so I just left it. Turns out… you pick it up and wait. Whatev. We were leaving as the lunch rush was coming in, so really just in time. Lenny — you’re my friend.
