Laundry Club

I had been coming here for several months spending about $ 80-​$ 100/​month. I showed up to pick up a $ 2 shirt one day with no cash on me and they forced me to get cash. Despite me telling them I come and spend this much money a month, and that using their ATM outside would literally double my transaction based on the fee, they refused to take my credit card as payment.
It’s the little things like this that matter to mom and pop business. You just had to save that $ 0.30 to piss off a loyal customer. I will be taking my business elsewhere, loyalty apparently means nothing to them.

They were on time and reliable. I asked for them to launder in cold and to keep the jeans separate. They did a great job.

This laundry shop is a dirty craphole. Went there twice and they ruined my expensive suit the second time. Very unpleasant and unrespectful with customers. Just walk one more block…

First time here and it was easy in, easy out. $ 1.25 per pound seems pretty reasonable considering it’s same day service (within 5 – 6 hours). I’ve been coming back ever since because they are very consistent with the way they do my laundry and package it up after I drop it off. I don’t really have the time (or desire) to stay and do a few loads myself during a weekend, so this is a great option for me. They don’t use scented detergent (and if they do, I can’t smell it) and everything is folded for pick up. The staff is super friendly and attentive too. Don’t believe any of the bad reviews, honestly, these guys are great.

surprised about their dry clean quality. didn’t expect much but their stain treatment and pressing is very high end. feel like i found the one stop shop for my laundry & dry clean needs.

This is the only place in NY that I am a regular at, which speaks to how much I love them as I can be a very demanding customer with high standards. I’ve been going here for almost 4 years now, since I’ve moved to NY, and of course a lot of that is because it’s right next door to me, but it’s also because the people here make it a very pleasant weekly experience that I am always happy to return to.
I love the employees. They’re quiet, but I know they work hard and they care a lot. They really make me feel like I live in a neighborhood and not a big, impersonal city. We wave to each other on the streets. They notice my haircut. If I can’t wash my clothes until late, they let me leave it in the dryer to pick up the next morning. Today they gave me a laundry bag for free.
The hours here are great, which only further shows how hard they work. They open early and close late. As one reviewer mentioned, the turn around time is also great, often next day or the same day when I need to get my blankets washed.
Also as of the past year, they’ve really renovated the place. They painted the walls, put in new floors, replaced some washing machine parts, integrated a database system, underwent some rebranding. Again, they’re working super hard and it shows!
I cannot say enough good things about this place.

5 hour turnaround time from drop off to pickup. Not the cheapest but the speediest I’ve ever encountered. Would be my recommendation for any tourist who’s staying within a 1-​mi radius of this spot!
