I went in here with the grand idea of making tamales. They had everything I needed!
It’s a small space that is jammed to the rafters with every Mexican grocery item you can imagine! I wish I knew what to do with half of what they had!
As a «gringa» with no clue about tamales, I wasn’t sure if I get a lot of help or be given the cold shoulder. The young man at the register couldn’t offer much recipe/​ingredient advice but he was very courteous and friendly.
If you need any items for your recipe, I would suggest this store! It’s authentic and the prices are reasonable.
