Stopped at La Boutique Resale today and found the most amazing pair of Louboutin Boots and Moschino statement heals. Excellent customer service! Easily 5 stars.

This is one of my absolute favorite places to shop in NYC. Scratch that… anywhere! They have an amazing assortment of brands, from super high end to less so. I just got two really nice Jil Sander pieces, as well as a couple of nice sweaters, and a beautiful winter coat. I’ve been shopping here for years, and they consistently have terrific stuff and reasonable prices. Plus, their staff is really sweet and helpful.

I like the upstairs boutique and this place has amazing items… Especially for dressy occasions. I have had great experiences with them for shoes, bags, dresses & jackets. The Zoran and Chanel sections are always good and the staff is honest and helpful. Whether consigning or buying this is a very worthwhile stop and be sure to check the upstairs as well as the store-front section.

Great selection of everything for me to look chic. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. More higher end, more choices and better prices than Michaels. Snatched up a fantastic Chanel necklace, Lanvin patent bag, and Dries Van Noten coat on my last recent visit.

Consignment is a tricky business. There are a million places to shop and usually the sneaking dread that you’re not getting an authentic piece or that you’re paying too much. Not so here at La Boutique Resale which has been in business for TWENTYYEARS with an impeccable reputation. I bought Prada shoes and Chanel shoes that are not only real but are priced as a steal at $ 225 and $ 148 respectively. Not only that but the owner Jonathan will not steer you away to a more expensive purchase. What looks good, looks good. This place is the real deal AND a real deal.

I have been shopping at LA Boutique Resale for over 14 years and the designer merchandise is of high quality and the staff is extremely helpful. I have purchased beautiful handbags over the years and continue to enjoy them. The prices are also very reasonable.

I went thereon my vacation. I got a great Burberry coat, a cute gucci hobo bag and an incredible Prada dress at a wonderful price. The staff was so helpful too. Will definitely be back. They have 2 other stores — can’t wait to visit those locations the next time I’m back in NYC to find more gems!

I shop at this location and their other locations on the Upper East side. I come here whenever I visit NYC and have found lovely items that are very gently worn(some with the tags still on) at reasonable prices. Prada sandals, DVF dresses, Trina Turk, Pucci handbags and sandals. I find the staff very helpful and nice every time.

When. Found out nearby Michaels was closed, I saw this spot and popped in. The store was neat and organized but I found a lot of the merchandise to be outdated. One strange thing about my shopping experience here was that a man on the phone was trying to organize some receipts and trying to get certain items charged on a card that were missed. Something like that — as I obviously don’t know the whole story. It was a bit awkward and certainly gave off a strange vibe. Otherwise, the sales associates were nice — despite the fact that the one was pushing merchandise on her friend and offering her a discount. Most of the stuff here I thought was pretty overpriced. A Michael Kors jacket was $ 500 and a Chanel sweater here was $ 800. I just can’t justify these prices on used clothes not to mentions ones that are for the 50+ crowd. While I don’t want to make any false claims, I was skeptical of a pair of shoes. The materials looked very cheap and if I had to bet money, I’d say they were fake. Do keep in mind that even if they stand behind their merchandise, counterfeit fashion products are made really well and are sometimes hard to spot these days. So if the store was tricked, I can’t quite blame them 100%.

If you are going to sell something, better off going to Michael’s upstairs. Staff not well informed and nasty

This store is small but packed — so packed that some of the racks are hard to pick through. The clothing selection was good; there’s a decent mix of vintage and newer stuff. They had a lot of new with tags deadstock. The salespeople working were very nice; I felt encouraged to try on as many things as I wanted and take my time. As a tourist, I also enjoyed the entertaining conversation between the clerk and a tiny, old rich lady selling jewelry. The prices were generally fair, although diffusion lines were sometimes marked(and priced) as if they were mainline.

It’s a relatively small store with I suppose a good selection. It was all relatively mature stuff, I didn’t see much someone under 30 would have interest in or use for. I also take issue with the Unilocal rating of $$(moderate). The store stocks major labels and I don’t think I saw a price tag under $ 100, most were in the $ 200 – 300 range.

This place is still awesome but I learned the Birkins are fakes.
