Kinkhabwala Rajiv, MD

I just visited Dr. Kinkhabwala for the first time. He was recommended by a close friend of mine. I don’t take doctor visits lightly… I am not from New York and have kept my primary doctor from Chicago for the last 7 years. After a recent health scare, I wanted to finally have a primary doctor I could rely on in NYC. Dr. Kinkhabwala was very warm, friendly, cared about my personal/​medical history before jumping into my annual physical exam. He also called me on my cell phone the day after my visit to personally deliver my blood test results. I am very happy I visited Dr. Kinkhabwala and would highly recommend anyone to check out the Murray Hill Medical Group practice. The medical practice seems quite large, but the personal interaction was extraordinary. The secretaries were very friendly/​helpful. I would feel comfortable seeing another doctor there if Dr. Kinkhabwala was unavailable for any reason.

Dr. K is a very caring person and a great physician. He carefully listens to patients and does his work in a very pragmatic way. I’ve been going to him on a friend’s recommendation for years and would rather change my insurance than switch from him to someone else. A great guy and a great doctor.

Dr. Kinkhabwala is great. Hands-​down the best primary care doctor I’ve ever had. He’s always willing to talk about lifestyle changes without pushing you to take meds. He’s patient, kind, and very very easy to talk to.

I’ve been going to Dr. K for maybe 4 years now. Once you’ve become an established patient, you can schedule appointments online, which is awesome. There’s a huge practice — easily a dozen primary care physicians — but generally you only see your doctor.
Dr. K is young, easy to joke around with but serious at the same time. He orders tests when necessary, and doesn’t necessarily push pills.
Being in the NYU network also makes it easier for other doctors affiliated with NYU to pull up your files electronically (MRIs and the like). That’s a huge benefit because my dermatologist was able to see my most recent blood test results without my having to bring them along.

Love Dr. K. Easy going, smart, and online appointments. His brother Sanjiv (in the same building) does endocrinology, if that ends up being something you need.
