Fish and tofu stew was delicious. Service was quick; I only waited about 5 mins for my food to arrive. However, food was priced about 20% higher than other Chinese restaurants and sadly it wasn’t justified by its portion. Plus, I had to pay extra for a small cup of soup while I get that for free at others. I think it would be a long time until I go back.

Super small hole-​in-​the-​wall place. Definitely try the jalapeño and salted pork with fried rice, like everyone else said. It’s awesome. I tried the wonton soup too and the dumplings were very good. The woman working there was incredibly nice — she gave us an extra bowl of soup to try and gave us candies for the New Year. And I suspect she gave us fresh soup when we asked to pack up our remaining food to take home. I will absolutely come here again.

In short, if Frank Underwood worked in NYC and he had a craving for Chinese food instead of BBQ, he’d come here. The food is fresh and delicious.

«I have decided to add this business onto Unilocal because it deserves recognition. (I don’t even think the owners know what Unilocal is). This place is truly a hole-​in-​the-​wall restaurant, which I first ate at over 10 years ago. I come here whenever I am in Chinatown.
On the outside, the place looks run down, but the owner (s) keep it maintained very well on the inside. The restaurant has roughly 3 and a half tables, so the entire place can only seat 14 people?
What I usually order: Long-​Gua-​Yue-​Lam Fan (in cantonese) –this translates to Bitter Melon with Fish Belly and White Rice. –or– Tomatoes with Fish Belly and WRice. It’s simple and delicious»

The salt and pepper pork chop brings me back to this place every time I’m in Chinatown.

Head to this tiny hole in the wall restaurant if u want the best wonton soup in NYC! For $ 5 u will get a large bowl with several wonton and fresh baby bok choy and scallion. A meal unto itself! Delicious and comforting!

This is the place for authenticate home-​style Cantonese Chinese food. Their fish stew dishes are my favorites. If you are not sure what to get, just ask them what’s good for today. Can’t go wrong with it.
