Awesome coffee. Chilled and relaxed atmosphere. Nice to sit on stool outside, sip your coffee, and watch New York pass by.

I was excited to come here since I just moved to NYC and I’m trying to find where my favorite coffee stops might be. Based on the ratings I decided to stop in. First thing I noticed was that the place is teeny tiny. Very few spots to sit unfortunately. Second, the kid working at the front was nice enough, although seemed to be more concerned with talking to his coworker than to the customers. I ordered a pastry(which is supposed to be buy one get one after 5) a few mins past 5. The free pastry was never offered, so I suppose I should’ve just asked for the free one, but I hate being that person. I also ordered the Iced Almond Chai Latte. I was hoping for it to blow me away since there are pretty good reviews on drinks, but unfortunately I was very«eh» about it. Partially because the latte itself was mediocre, partially because the 6 people that came in after me had their orders made for them before the barista even bothered to start my drink. It appeared that some of them were regulars, but it didn’t really bode well. Due to the combination of mediocre food/drink with mediocre service, I don’t plan on stopping in again.

Love the passion fruit ice tea! =) Employees were very kind and helpful since I didn’t want something caffeinated but yummy at the same time. It really hit the spot for what i was craving. Open storefront is perfect for people watching and the summer new york weather. In love with the music choices: ella fitzgerald, frank sinatra, michael buble — makes the atmosphere warm and wonderful.

I live off coffee on a day to day basis and I work in Hell’s Kitchen so I was looking for a nice coffee shop in the area that’s not a Starbucks, etc. I’ve been here twice now and got a cappuccino and latte. Overall, they both tasted quite nice, nothing special but not poor either. If I’m nitpicking, they take a long time to make the coffee but I appreciate this isn’t a Starbucks I wouldn’t begrudge them for that! With the nice weather, they open the doors and windows and it’s nice to sit and look out on 9th Avenue. it’s a very small place so this is a nice adjustment. Staff are friendly. All in all, it’s a nice place but nothing to write home about!

The dulce de leche latte was spectacular. Kahve is a very tiny café. By very small I mean extremely small. Lines in the café take up the whole space but the coffee is so good its worth it. Will visit again on my next trip to NY

OM Goodness!!! We loved their Latte and Mocha! Very rich and my Latte was so good I didn’t even need to add sugar! We also had a couple pastries that were buttery. It is a very small shop with a few bar seats facing out the window(that can be open in better weather) and 3 – 4 small tables. This was our favorite out of all the coffee shops. Off the beaten path but worth the walk. Staff was friendly.

Had a delicious latte there on a Saturday evening. Teeny tiny space, wish they had more room for tables — I’d be there all the time! Service was super friendly and efficient, they cranked through a big group of people in short order. Will definitely return when looking for a latte to go in Hell’s Kitchen!

I’m very pleased with a delicious and fresh tasting coffee. Because of the monopoly of Starbucks it can be hard to find a good specialty shop but this place has what it takes. Almost a crack in the wall(actually though… hard to move around if you have a backpack or there is a lineup) the servers are always very friendly, very quick and pump out quality drinks. They have some interesting specialty items — I had a chocolate covered strawberry latte last time I was in — and the classics as well. If you know Starbucks is overpriced, come here to get what you pay for.

It’s been over 2 years since I’ve last reviewed Kahve. Not much has changed. Same amazing coffee. Same smiling friendly faces. Same delicious pastries. A few changes… An awesome new manager(the former one now manages Kahve’s new location at 47th and 10th in addition to overseeing the original 9th ave shop) and some new wood tables made from recycled wood. Some new pastries like the pumpkin and chocolate whoopie pies($ 3), the ham & brie croissant, and a few more. Plus their seasonal«coffee» cocktails which add a little sweetness to their self-roasted espresso beans. Kahve is already four years old and with good reason — the owners truly love their work as do the baristas. Every coffee and food item sold is handed to you with a smile. Plus it’s tasty and I’ll continue coming back whenever I’m in the neighborhood. Keep it up Kahve! Looking forward to the next four years and more!

Kahve is by far the best café in Hell’s Kitchen. It’s a bit too far from my apartment to walk there during the week, but my fiancé and I go every weekend. They have a loyalty program so we have gotten our fair share of free drinks. My fiancé always gets a white chocolate raspberry mocha and I usually get a skim chai latte. I have yet to find a better chai latte in the city so I highly recommend everyone to try their chai. They have pretty long lines on the weekend and only a few employees so expect to wait a bit to get your drink. There is some seating but it’s usually taken by customers that have been sitting there awhile. Definitely an awesome place to hang out and chat if you can manage to get a seat. Overall, I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re looking for a new coffee joint!

Location: Hell’s kitchen is where you get different cuisines all at once. Kahve has been famous for its zebra mocha since its latte art is so distinctive. At least, that ‘s what i feel before I went through all those Unilocal reviews and bookmarked. So yeah, I got zebra mocha. The latte art is not what I want to see Bummer. And the flavor is okay.

I love finding non-chain coffee places and have made it a mission to try one anytime I am close to one. This place is almond milk yumminess! Super cute and small. There is limited seating, but very cozy! I had the Masala chai… frothed with almond milk! So delicious! The baristas are fun and very helpful.

Stopped by a lazy Saturday afternoon. The space is incredibly small, and it’s hard to line up because of the said small space, but the drinks are pretty worth it and service is fast. I was in and out with my cherry smoothie in 5 minutes. My friend got the eggnog latte and she recommends it. A nice neighborhood café, would be nice to sit for a bit when the crowd is thin!

Such a cute coffee place! It is small, with limited seating, but very cozy! Baristas are wonderful as well. I met a friend here Sunday morning and had a few minutes to kill before he arrived, so I asked the barista what he’d recommend from the menu. We had a nice chat and I ended up ordering the organic brew that they have. It was — just like he said — delicious. If you are more the ‘sugar and spice and everything nice’ type, there is a long list of espresso drinks that you can choose from that will most definitely satisfy your cravings. They also have a nice selection of pastries. I will make my way back when I’m in the area. :)

Almond Milk Deliciousness You’ll be back for more! This tiny little spot packs a powerful punch, still going strong after all these years. Every drink I try I want to order again! Lovely details, great service, limited seating. If you like blended with ice, you’ll be in for a treat. Lavendar, vanilla, chocolate… you really cannot go wrong. Oh so vegan friendly + Dairy Free options. Every time I am within a few blocks I try to stop by here for a treat. Ok, maybe I ordered a wrong one. Had a iced cappuccino this morning on my way to the office. I had just one sip of it, and for some reasons, I felt nauseous. Sorry, I had to throw it away. Curious what went wrong with it. Maybe I should try next time one of its chai latte, which seems to be everyone’s favorite. Though I had a horrible experience with my first try for Kahve, I’m rating 3 stars only because of its message on the blackboard on the street. It was one Friday morning, and the message was saying«Congrats! You made it out of bed :)» It made my day!

I saw White Chocolate Strawberry mocha and wanted exactly it because it looked great, wonderful, I don’t know, AWESOME!!! and tasted it also great, yummy-yummy-yummy! I’d give the Kahve 5 stars but… too small place, only 4 – 5 tables, and that’s why I give only 3 stars. It’s a high time to broaden.
