This place sucks. I live 7 blocks away and they won’t deliver? What??? Lost my business.

We decided to visit in person in hopes of finding a solid takeout option in the neighborhood. Can’t overstate how ghetto this place is. Tables? Filthy, sticky, greasy. Not just the one we sat at, every. single. table. Child seat visible in one of the other photos was lying on it’s side in the middle of the floor. Food was served on trays that were so unclean they were sticky to the touch. Both trays. The entire trays. I don’t expect fine dining in a neighborhood chinese joint. Most of my very favorite places are dives and holes in the wall, but I do at least want to know a place that is making my food is at least relatively clean. Food was mediocre to tasty. Broccoli in garlic sauce was flavorful but swimming in a pool of oil. Fried rice was under-seasoned. Sesame noodles were overcooked and flaccid. Spring roll and dumplings were okay. I realize that the vast majority of reviews here are from takeout customers but if most came in and saw how disgustingly unsanitary the place is they’d probably think twice.

WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICE everrrr. i dont understand why they even have a business if every little thing bothers them. If your gonna have 1 order deliveres expect atleast a 35 min wait for it and sometimes it bothers them to even know its just 1 order when any other chinese resturant has nooo problem with that. I honestly dont even feel like ordering from here again. Food was pretty good but the staff isnt. Even the delievery guy is rude, he bascially took the tip himself when he was giving me change.

After reading Unilocal’ review decided to order delivery. They were suppose to be the best in the neighborhood. I opened up my Shrimp with lobster sauce to be greeted by a disgusting hair !! Right there on the top. Really gross. Never getting food from there again. They really need to be careful with preparing people’s food. It’s a responsibility not to be taken lightly.

Chinese food restaurants in NYC are on every corner a Starbucks or pizzeria isn’t, so finding one that is worth their wonton is a place to check out. The wonton soup is as others have reviewed, excellent. It’s probably the closest thing I’ve actually come to a homemade chicken soup broth I’ve ever gotten from a chinese resturant. The wontons themselves were perfect — not to hard, not too soft, and wrapped tight. I went for the Beef Chow Fun. It was excellent, but different than a traditional chow fun dish. The rice noodles were prepared correctly, no clumping. The sauce was flavorful, but lacked smokey flavor. What set this off from others chow fun, they had a lot of beef and vegetables in the dish, I’d say almost half the plate was meat and vegetables! It really was awesome. The house special lo mien was also loaded with shrimp and chicken. Now with all this meat/shrimp, I’d have no problem ponying up an extra buck or two per plate, but Jumbo’s prices are very affordable. Looking forward to my next visit.

Food is great. I usually order my boneless spare ribs and chicken with broccoli and they tasted yummy with large portion for fare price. Downside is they don’t delivery far enough in our place…

It’s as good as it gets for Chinese takeout. Really, it was really good. Large portions, The wonton soup broth was rich and tasted like homemade chicken soup. It wasn’t like yellow water the way most take out places make it. The General Tsos chicken was sweet and spicy and had a lot of sauce, We tried the Singapore mai fun and they did it right. Fresh noodles, plenty of shrimp and chicken. And the best thing was the prices were inexpensive.

This is one of my «go to’s» chinese restaurant, its close to my job so my co-workers usually go here. The service is good, they always greet u with smiles. The brown rice is tasty. Delivery is fast, even if you’re ordering for a group. The only reason i took off a star its because, sometimes there are huge flies going back and forth in the seating area, but they do have the screen doors.

My wife and I have been lucky to move to homes with solid, reliable Chinese take-outs nearby. We just moved to Richmond Hill about a month ago and this was our first time trying out any Chinese in the area, and we have to say so far, so good! Jumbo is certainly ready to be our regular go-to Chinese place! What got us in the door was that Jumbo accepts credit cards. The service was very friendly. The portions are very substantial for the price — I’m not used to having something to set aside for lunch the next day! My only very small complaint is that the General Tso’s Chicken is a little bit dry. But it was still very tasty. The pork fried rice had substantial chunks of pork, and the egg roll was generously portioned. My wife called her Hot and Sour Soup«fantastic» and was satisfied by her mixed vegetables with chicken. Welcome home.
