I only write this to hopefully offer what I needed when I had to do the search for funeral home. I suffered an unbelievably painful loss, Rob and Angel were so kind and thoughtful. Angel answered a million calls and questions and were so helpful during the whole process.

First time a very close relative of mine past away, my dad. Cremation was a decision my family chose„ had many questions. Thomas, a staff member answered all my questions. He was professional n well knowledgeable. He took his time to explain evrrything that I needed to know. Made my emotional experience a pleasant one. Although I would not want to place my foot here again„ I would definitely choose this please again if need to.

I would highly recommend this funeral home. They all went above and beyond the call of duty in making this sad experience such a pleasure. They couldn’t be more kind or cooperate in everything I asked them to do. I could not thank them enough. Jean M. 10÷30÷13

As an out-of-towner, I recently had to plan the burial for an elderly New Yorker friend whose final wishes and arrangements were quite convoluted. I was panicking, but one call to Michael Madonna at John Krtil Funeral Home helped to put my mind at ease. Michael listed the information I would need to locate among my late friend’s possessions and gave me moral support throughout the process. Because of his help – and against all odds! – my friend was able to have a beautiful funeral mass and be buried in the plot she desired. I highly, highly, highly recommend this business as a friendly, professional, and reasonably priced port in the storm of confusion that can come after a death. I don’t think I’ve ever been more grateful to anyone for their help.

This may seem like a strange thing to review, but in a world where the vast majority of funeral homes are owned by a few huge national corporations, I think it’s important to single out this business as excellent, professional, well-priced, and trustworthy. My recent experience there made a very sad occasion a bit less difficult and traumatizing than it might otherwise have been. The staff were compassionate and highly decent in their interactions with my family. The prices were literally one-fifth the cost of the nearby Campbell funeral home. In families’ time of grief, many funeral parlors take advantage and overcharge for services. Unethical practices in this industry are widely documented. If you’re in need of funeral services in Manhattan, I recommend Kritl’s family-owned, family-run business for its high quality, fair prices, and kindly interactions.
