If you want a flavorless, hardly any sauce pizza, then this is definitely the place for you. It was like eating cheese and dough with no flavor. I put chili flakes, basil, garlic powder and even hot sauce so I can make it good enough to eat, so disappointed. I didn’t just get a slice, I got 3 whole pizza pies! What a waste. Save your money and time and go to another pizza place.

After downgrading my order at Vincenz across the street, I ordered a slice here to compare, and the 1 hectic guy was far more efficient than Vinny’s 2, even if he did seem to mix up orders within every group. Ended up with a burnt slice that was more crackery n cloying Chuck E Cheese style, so won’t be back.

I came in here yesterday on my way home after having drunk some happy hour beer. I wanted to have some food in my stomach. I ordered 2 slices to go. IT didn’t take long and the pizza was decent. At least in comparison to the price.

Really a 3.5 star place, but bumped up for walking in and out with two slices in under a minute. For those who know me, time is limited and I hate waiting. Two cheese slices came to $ 2, no bs or questions asked. You could get a soda for an extra 75 cents with their special as well. There were slices with toppings also if you like that. Bonus: It’s right by the L train.

This is one of my favorite $ 1 pizza places in New York. Unlike your 2bros the tomato sauce is a lot brighter. Its hard to describe but it taste like fresh tomatoes without a lot of adulteration added to it like canned tomato sauce. If you don’t believe me go across the street and try the 2bros. The brightness of the tomato sauce balances very well with the cheese. It helps to differentiate the cheese from the sauce giving it a more dynamic flavor profile. The crust is also thin and crunchy. 2bros is a little bit sweeter with its crust. Finally its a dollar. For a dollar I don’t expect much but this definitely beats my expectation. The toppings cost a dollar extra which is bummer.

Serviceable $ 1 slice was read in seconds and consumed even faster. A village né’er-do-well was amused by their music selection and made boisterous jokes about his ex-girlfriend and some breakup song. I’m certain they didn’t understand a word.

They have the best spicy pork burrito I’ve had in a long time. Didn’t expect it from a $ 1 pizza shop… it seems like a side project from the guys behind the counter, amazing.

Bang for your buck. $ 1 slice cheese pizza, and $ 8 for a whole pizza pie. Nothing to complain about here. Can’t be too picky when your dinner or snack only costs a dollar right? But, in comparison to other $ 1 pizza places I have been to in the city, Joey Pepperoni is one of the better places I have been too. The 4-stars are given in consideration of the price, taste, and cleanliness of the restaurant.

While the slices here are slightly smaller than the other locations, they still taste great fresh. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Why two stars? 1) He dropped the pizza cutter onto the floor and placed it back on the table. God knows if he reused it for the next pizza. 2) He was coughing while tossing the pizza dough. I was hesitant to purchase more slices.

1 dollar a slice? Score! Not the best pizza I’ve had in NYC but come on now, it’s a dollar. So in terms of the price, I’d say it’s definitely one of the better 1 dollar pizza places out there. Totally beats that Hot and Crusty nearby to!

What can you really say about dollar slice pizza? It’s cheap, so you can’t expect something that will blow you away. That said, as dollar slices go, this competes for the top spot among pizzerias that I’ve tried. $ 1 for a plain slice, good balance of cheese sauce and crust, $ 1.50 for a slice with one topping. Definitely beats the two-doors-down Hot & Crusty pizza, and for a fraction of the cost. Bottom line — solid bang for your buck. If you’re low on cash, or just looking for a cheap pizza fix, look no further than here.

Very Good, Good Service, and most of all very very economical! You can’t beat that. Pros: 1. Very good slice of pizza for $ 1 2. Very good cheese calzone for $ 2.5 3. Very crunchy garlic knots Cons: No chairs just tables but its a place you eat your slice and run out.

Although it’s hard to give dollah slice much more than three stars, I’d say this is top-tier dollah slice. It didn’t have that«manufactured» crust feel like a lot of the other places of this ilk, so points for that. It was a tad greasy, but what do you want for this money? Your arteries will forgive you, and so will your wallet.
