Hell on earth honestly I’d rather stab myself in the eyeball with glass than order from this place

I have no idea why ppl keep saying this place has good burgers. They do not season the burger! They just grill PLAIN meat. yuk! Also, everything seems to come out of a deep freezer — there’s no «real» food in this place. I ordered hash browns, thinking I’d get real ones (ie shredded potatoes), but instead got 2 hash brown patties that look like they came from McDonald’s.

Restaurant is becoming very overpriced, service has not improved and the staff are not friendly! Went to purchase a simple salad there and the woman told me they only had Cesar and a chicken salad. I shared I would take a «Cesar» but I just don’t want any cheese just the croutons and some oil/​vinegar on the side and they charged me $ 7.35. Really? For lettuce and croutons? Make sure you always ask for the price in advance! Thumbs down for this one!

The place was clean and pretty spacious for the space they have.
The employees were nice. When we came in, they asked right away if we were sitting at the table or their «bar» area. They didn’t smile but they didn’t frown either. They were just there to do their jobs. Our server didn’t come back though to give us more water or if we needed anything after she served us our food.
The food was served quickly. I got the pork sausage omelette. It came with fries and toast. The toast was sorta burnt. The fries were ok — nothing special. The omelette was basic. It was just eggs and pork sausage. It’s extra if you get cheese or anything else. The omelette was alright. Nothing special.
My fiancé got the double cheeseburger. It was good but very basic. It was good size.
Definitely a great find. It’s a nice place to eat when you just want to eat something basic. Would definitely come back just to fill myself up but I wouldn’t go all the way across the island for it.

Great place for a quick, cheap bite. Burger is excellent. Nor fancy, but the service is good and quick.

Great service, cheap eats. I had the pancakes and they were better than Ihop’s.

First time I experienced Jimbos was a take out order. I placed an order for a gyro. BEST GYRO I HAVE HAD IN Harlem. They were quick in making my food and the presentation was awesome.
Second time I visited was for a dine experience. Tables were clean and waitress was friendly. This time I ordered a cheeseburger with LOTS of toppings. Burger was greasy and good!!! This place has a dinner feel. Prices are extremely affordable and the menu is rather large. AND THEY SERVE. BREAKFAST ALL DAY. This is a spot in Harlem if you need a quick bite for a great price. And the bathrooms are extremely clean.

Just grabbed a burger and fries to-​go from Jimbo’s and let me tell you that this was probably one of the best burgers i have had in a long time. The fries were great, but nothing special. I haven’t dined in but if im in the area again, i definitely will.

Jimbo’s is a staple in Harlem and they serve breakfast all day. That always puts a smile on my face I love breakfast at any time of day. The bacon cheeseburgers are always on my list or the french toast, cheese fries, bacon and toast on the side.

The best burgers I’ve ever eaten. It’s sloppy, juicy and just delicious. The best place to grab a quick lunch while in the neighborhood.
They also delivery which is perfect if you can’t leave the office.

My wife & I were looking for a simple, delicious breakfast. We’ve been to all places where we lived on UWS but all were just average to say the least. We decided on Jimbo’s and boy was it delicious. Place was nice, no complaints on restaurant appearance. We were seated quickly and had our order taken quickly as we knew what we wanted. I settled on the Waffles, Eggs, Bacon & French Fries w/​white toast & she had French Toast, Eggs, Bacon & Home fries w/​white toast. We were both blown away! It was fantastic! My reason for 3 stars is because toward the end of my meal, a homeless, crackhead approached asking for 5 $ with a storyline of her mother passing, i had to repeatedly ask her to step away from our table. Shortly after she leaves & I lose my appetite, I am seated waiting for my wife to finish when another set of crackheads get into a heated argument and even have to be escorted out. Food was delicious, I may come again. Be prepared to deal with more crackheads then you’d like.

Just really good burgers and fries. The service is also good. Glad it’s up the block from me.
They also have breakfast items. Looked yummy.
The place was mostly full with patrons when I wandered in on a Sunday afternoon. Not crowded, but a good amount of people.
If you are in the neighborhood, definitely try it without thinking twice!

After waiting over 30 minutes for service at Miss Maude’s Spoonbread Too, we ended up here for dinner on a Friday night. Glad to have found them. The place was impeccably clean, the service was fast and friendly, the burger was good. The only nitpick I have is I ordered french fries extra crisp, and they weren’t. Still, for an inexpensive quick meal, this is definitely a go-​to spot! LOVED our waitress!

Love the food and the prices are good! Clean restaurant. I always get the chicken cutlet sandwich and the grilled cheese! Service is good just leave a tip because they work hard

I’ve been going to the Jimbo’s on 125^th and Amsterdam for the last 9 years and refused to go to any other one, believing that they were bootlegs lol. However, I recently moved further uptown and visited this one. It’s cleaner and there’s seating here. But besides that, I didnt think a Jimbo’s burger could get better but this place did it! the burger was SOO good, it seemed bigger than the 125^th jimbos, too. and i got it FAST. really fast. and it was a busy day. wish they accepted credit cards though…

Seriously this is the best local hamburger place/​breakfast diner. Normally when I run here there are quite a few Harlem hospital staffers in there ordering a Jimbo’s cheeseburger deluxe.
The prices are decent and the food is great.

I consider Jimbos to be a great fast fodo place especially if you want a good cheeseburger! I rather though travel to the one located on Post and Dyckman, because I feel as though they’re food is better prepared and they carry a delicious white sauce that goes great with your fries!

I was introduced to Jimbo’s several years ago. I love the diner type feeling, along with fast service. I loved it… every single bite!
I visit everytime I’m in Harlem.

Jimbo’s. It’s a hamburger place, that tastes like they’re using frozen patties. Nothing terrible, but nothing superb. Good portions for the price. Walking distance from Harlem Hospital.

We had a place called Jimbo’s (which wasn’t part of this chain) where I went to University in Pennsylvania. Nothing has come close to the awesomeness of that Jimbo’s…until I found this chain!!! PERFECTION when you’re drunk and feeling like a phat fatty!!! EAT IT ALL!!!
