Theyre a solid 3.5 stars so I rounded up to 4. Hard to give a bodega 4 stars but they get bonus points for being so nice. Even though its in the center of midtown, the guys remember me like I’m part of the neighborhood, and it makes for a pleasant visit. Its always crowded but I don’t mind the wait, because its so close to where I work. Its strictly take-out. They have everything you need for breakfast or lunch at the grill and the typical refrigerated beer and drink selection. Its a good menu, for such a tiny place, if you read the sign posted above the grill. Its a typical dive, bodega-style, but the food is just right. It’s made to order, and the price is fair for midtown. What more do you want? Place your order and then step aside toward the back, or wait outside in good weather. It’s that cramped when there’s a crowd. Am I the only person disgusted chick fil a had over 50 health violations. Never again. No thanks.

I’m giving them 1 star only because i cant give them zero the only thing going right for them is the breakfast sandwiches they’re on point with them and price wise too but do not order one for lunch they’ll charge you an extra dollar without notice verbally or posted anywhere in the store and yes that chicken cutlet sandwich is one of the worst I’ve ever had not crispy at all. microwaved and soggy horrible and the other day I ordered a turkey and munster cheese with mayo and a bit of mustard well guess what they couldn’t manage to get that right something so simple. I got my sandwich overloaded with mayo and mustard that I couldn’t even take a bite without it dripping off my sandwich I just don’t get it. I do recommend from anyone to stay away from this place there’s plenty more around the neighborhood that will get everything right for you just the way you ordered it

I work around the corner from this place and whenever I don’t want Moe’s or Pret for lunch I would come here. Mainly for the sandwiches. I would recommend the cold cuts because it’s quick and easy to make and you can’t mess it up while making it. Sadly, that can’t be said about the hot sandwiches. I ordered a hot chicken parm with bacon and I was highly disappointed. The cheese was still somewhat cold, the bacon was too hard and the worst part of all, the chicken was microwaved. This is a hit or miss place. Would I come back? Maybe.
