DONTCOMEHERE! RUDESERVICE. NOTWORTHIT. I created a Unilocal just to give this place the review they deserve! I came here for the third time because the first time I had a really nice experience and the food was really delicious. Anyways so this time I wanted to order spinach ravioli with vodka sauce(the pink sauce) because it was good the last two times! We came in and already it took us so long to be served and they didn’t even bother to bring us water until almost 30 minutes later? But anyways I brushed it off my shoulder. This time I came I had the same waiter I did from the second time I went there and I knew he remembered me because I was just there last week. He didn’t even give us a smile and said«are you ready or not» We brushed the minor attitude and ordered. I asked for the ravioli with vodka sauce and I was with a friend. He then comes back and gives me the ravioli and I realize he didn’t put the vodka sauce! I asked very NICELY, «excuse me sir I am sorry but I asked for vodka sauce. Right away he got so angry he said«No I didn’t hear you say that, you said tomato sauce» and I said«sorry sir no I actually said vodka sauce» Mind YOU I’ve been a waiter I HAVE A LOTEXPERIENCE and I am a very kind person. He right away threw the plate in front of me and said«No we don’t make it, too bad, You have to eat it like that» And I was so shocked by the nasty attitude because I’ve never been treated like this, that of course I said I wasn’t going to eat it! He then said«No we don’t make that ravioli anyways so I don’t know what you are talking about«when I told him that I’ve already had it two times with no problem. Whats so hard about just changing the sauce? When other dishes have the same sauce.(it’s not like you are creating a whole new ingredients) SOMANYITALIAN restaurants I BEENTOOCHANGEDMYSAUCEWITHNOPROBLEMMINUSTHEATTITUDE. I CANPAYEXTRA it doesn’t matter. He continued to argue with me until I said I wasn’t eating anything, Mind you he didn’t even bother to say sorry after he threw a plate at me! It’s not so hard to say«Oh my I am sorry for the mistake let me go check if we can do that for you» He then stormed off and started telling all the workers what happened(unprofessional) SAVEYOURMONEY, Don’t waste you time on HORRIBLE service it’s not worth the good food because then you lose your appetite, even the manager knew what was going on and didn’t bother to come apologize for us. We were very nice people and we are very respectful because we know how hard waitering is and he had the nerve to disrespect us. Don’t be a waiter if you don’t know how to communicate with people. Most horrible experience.

Had pizza. Comes in a 12″ only & thin crust. It was excellent. Visited on a Sunday evening. Small restaurant, fast service, friendliness was just average.

Obsessed. Obsessed. Obsessed with this place. It was incredible and I loved my spaghetti alla vognole so much. So garlicky, so oily, so good. And all at an affordable price! There are many pasta selections to choose from too so you definitely won’t get bored!

This is the best bang for you buck pasta in NYC. Lunch special is bomb, $ 9.95 for soup + pasta + bread! Get anything with tomato cream sauce. The pappardelle with chicken and broccoli is by far the best thing on the menu and everything is already great to begin with. Il Corallo is perfect for a casual lunch, date, or hangover food.

Super affordable pasta with a ridiculous portion size! Tucked behind Soho, this little Italian restaurant is worth the long walk down Prince Street(or worth the commute if you’re not around Soho). Not only do they boast an extravagant menu selection, you’ll also experience the vibes of Italian with the open window seating and the historic walls. After battling back and forth with all of the pasta options, my friend and I settled on the Taglierini Sorrento(black squid ink pasta with shrimp, crab meat, lobster, baby scallops, clams, and tomatoes in a white wine, olive oil, garlic sauce) and the Rigatoni Romagnoli(rigatoni with prosciutto, mushrooms, and peas in a tomato cream sauce). While waiting, we were served a basket of fresh bread — so fresh that it’s not pre sliced and sliced on the spot! I feel like this added to the softness and deliciousness of the sourdough bread. So good that we asked for a second serving to dip into our pasta sauces! Both pasta dishes were really good. First off, the portions are HUGE. We came hungry from the gym and struggled to finish our pastas, but it was too good not to finish. Highly recommend that you share a pasta entrée, but with its selection, it’ll be hard to decide on just one! Of the two, I loved the Taglierini Sorrento. The squid ink taste really came through the pasta. Given that I had a bad experience with a white wine based sauce before, I asked if I was able to substitute the sauce for a tomato cream sauce, but was informed it’d cost me $ 1.95 more. Uh, no thanks lol. But thankfully I didn’t because the white wine sauce was really good! I think it complemented the squid ink pasta really well. It had the perfect combination of olive oil to white wine and hints of garlic came through as well. I only wish there was more clams and lobster, but there were plenty of scallops and shrimp. The rigatoni was good, but it’s your standard vodka sauce pasta. I wasn’t a fan of the prosciutto though. It didn’t taste fresh as the pieces were hard — resembled more like pancetta to me. It’s a tiny and semi cramped restaurant that’s pretty popular, so come early with a small party!

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in NYC. My favorite is club meat and tomato angel hair pasta. I would like to try all of their pasta and pizza one day. Pasta is so delicious and will recommend to my friends and family.

Quattro Stelle I visited here last weekend and was able to pick-up a dinner for two at maybe 8:30pm on a Saturday night. It was packed but it seems management set up a system where people are squeezed in next to each-other and tables are adjusted as much as possible. I had a shrimp red-pepper pasta dish that screamed 3-stars because it was very watered down at the bottom and just not that appetizing for me(there were maybe 3 pieces of shrimp total in my dish, and too much water in my opinion at the bottom of the bowl). With all the hype and the great reviews, I was starting to think the food would let me down … Until the shrimp pizza arrived(yes!!). Slightly burnt and crispy on the flat crust, the dough was hot but not too hot, soft and fluffy on the inside and topped with great tomato sauce. The bottom wasn’t greasy, which I don’t like and it was the type of pizza where a bit of flour will get on your hands. The price was maybe less than a Domino large pizza which wouldn’t be able to compare. If it matters our shrimp pizza wasn’t very large, but no complaints on my end, it was tasty and filled us up. We decided to check out dessert and ordered a carmel flan(for only 6.00!!). It was decent sized, sweet and not too moist or damp as flan can get sometimes. I don’t know if I’d be back, but if you took me here I wouldn’t mind trying out the other pizzas and would look forward to it. Sidenote(not related to any criticism) — We sat down and in one hour I heard English, Spanish, French, Mandarin, Italian and Cantonese(me) from all the tables around us. I guess everyone in the world likes Italian food.

My favorite Italian restaurant in the city. Been here two times. First time I came here was recommended by my coworker. He told like 10 coworkers to go try. Everyone of us loved the restaurant. Coming here for the second time was exciting. I knew I wanted to order the Black Taglierini again. This is the popular dish of the black squid ink noodles. Everyone must try this dish. The second dish I tried was the fettuccine Piemontesi. This was good dish too. This place gets packed starting at 7pm. So it’s best to come for lunch or before 7 pm. The staff here is friendly and tell you the daily specials and soup of the day. They give bread before the dishes come out. The bread is delicious with the olive oil. I really love this restaurant and highly recommend everyone to go try. You guys will be hooked.

This is a great Italian restaurant! On arrival my girlfriend and I waited for about 15 minutes before being seated. It was a very busy night for them and they were happy to take us in without reservations. For starters we started with a Burrata, the mozzarella tasted very fresh and it was still nice and creamy in the center. The pizza pesto was delicious! With a thin crust and every bite has a burst of fragrance. The best dish we ordered was the Taglierini Sorrento! The homemade black squid ink pasta! OmG it was soooooo good. That delicious smell of seafood in the pasta was mouthwatering. I can’t wait to go back again in the near future and grab a mouthful of that squid ink pasta! Overall a great restaurant. The service was quick and prompt.

This is a solid pasta place. I got the Pappardelle Funghi. The freshness of the pappardelle was instantly apparent and it was delicious. As for the mushroom sauce itself, I found it to be on the oily side — after halfway finishing my dish, I started to feel a little grime-y, I think because the oil built up. That sad, it’d a good price with decent servings.

Probably one of, if not the best option for Italian South of Houston. This was always my go to downtown for non-pretentious solid Italian fare. The Black Squid Ink Pasta is amazing. Service was always on point. I had almost forgot about this place, and had wondered if it was still around. I am very happy to see that it is.

Solid lunch special in the area. For $ 9.95 you get your choice of soup of the day or green salad with your choice of pasta, panini, or personal pizza. There are so many options on the menu that I had trouble deciding! I came in at round 12:30 with a friend and we had no trouble getting a table. I had the mixed salad with cheese filled tortellini, which was a huge, full portion. My friend had the calamari pasta, which I think came with more calamari than pasta — that’s such a pleasant surprise! I highly recommend this cute little place for a wallet-friendly lunch!

Ever since my friend introduced me to Il Corallo Trattoria a couple of years ago, this has been my go-to pasta place in SoHo. Why? Two reasons — Taste and Price. There are legitimately so many choices on their pasta menu. that at this point, I randomly point at a new pasta dish each time, and it comes out perfectly cooked and delicious. This past Friday, I ordered the Fettucini Pescatore — Fettucini topped with scallops, shrimp, lobster, mussels, and clams. It tasted like the ocean on a plate of hot, steaming pasta. My fiancé had the Rigatoni Bolognese, topped with meat sauce, carrlots, celery, tomatoes, and wine. I had to stop myself from tasting hers or I would’ve had her entire plate… it was that good. I would also recommend the Tiramisu and Chocolate Mouse Cake. I didn’t have them this time… but had them before in the past and they were the king of amazing. Some other notes: – They do not take reservations, but if you go on a weekday or before 7pm on a weekend, you’ll be fine. – You need your whole party there before they seat you. – It can be a little tight during the busy times. – If you drive there, parking right in front is free right after 6PM. You are not allowed to park beforehand.

This was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. I got the seafood squid ink linguine, it was so flavorful and noodles were cooked so well. The shrimp pasta was delicious too. We were all licking our plates. The portions are huge. Definitely a food coma meal. Our friend ate two refills of bread. lol guess that was good too.

My friends and I had dinner here a couple of days ago. It was a Saturday around 6PM, so as expected, it was busy as heck. I can tolerate that, but I wasn’t too fond of the close quarters; it was easy to bump elbows or accidentally jostle into another person. But besides that, the food was amazing. There were a lot of delicious-sounding choices on the menu, but the fettuccine molisane seemed the most appealing to me. Our dishes arrived pretty quickly, before we could fill ourselves up with bread, and my dish was beyond delicious! The fettuccine molisane had green noodles that were just the best, chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and mushrooms, all in a cream sauce. Honestly, I could eat the noodles in the sauce by themselves because they were that tasty, but of course, the other components were perfect additions, and the portions were just right as well. The service was good; our group was seated quickly on such a busy evening, and our waiter was nice and super enthusiastic. The place felt very comfortable, like I was in a family member’s dining room, and the decorative plates adorning the walls were very fun to study while waiting for our meal. I’m sure I’ll come back here in the future, but during a less busy time.

They have very good pasta with generous portion and components in it + price! The place is really cute and people are always so welcoming. Lunch deals are nice too. Perfect place to hang out with friends when you’re feeling Italian. You’ll never regret!

Me and my friend went for a nice Italian dinner and it was the most satisfying dining experience. Very friendly and welcoming staffs first of all. Our waiter was very attentive. Foods came out in timely manner and were heavenly. Just as I’m writing this review, I’m already planning to go back for that delicious pasta and i was just there two days ago. That’s how much i loved it. Every one of my request, such as more water, some chili pepper, more napkin, and etc, were granted in less than few seconds which had me no time to even think of any complaints. Bravo! Amazing service! Great service and fantastic food made my dinner absolute fantastic.

Really good pasta /pizza /dessert place that I’ve always felt should draw far more of a crowd than it does, given the location, the quality of the food, and the prices. My wife and I have been going here for years(including on our first date), and have tried a bunch of different things — the menu is enormous, and almost everything we’ve tried has been good, but my favorite is the Black Taglierini, which is really fantastic and(in my experience) pretty unique. Pizzas and desserts are also good, but the pasta in particular is what I come back for. Part of me hopes that it becomes more popular, because in a just world I think it would, but part of me also likes knowing we can pop in whenever we want and get a table without too long a wait. That’s especially true when it gets nice out and you can sit outside.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and I was blown away. My two favorite things are pasta and seafood and this place has pages of pasta dishes! Also, the prices are great. I had some red house wine which was very strong, but eh, wine is wine to me at this point in my life. As an appetizer we got a mushroom salad(don’t remember the exact name). It was presented beautifully and had a ton of flavor. I don’t remember the entrée I had, but it was pasta in a creamy tomato sauce with seafood and avocado cubes. Hands down, one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back to try more pasta dishes!

Homemade pasta dishes here are phenomenal! Tucked away in the far west side of Soho but this small little shop knows how to be a shining neighborhood gem. If you love pasta, it is totally worth it! Upon arrival, I was noticed immediately, the decorative plate decors on the walls. It gives off a homely vibe, perfect setting for a Sunday evening dinner. The menu had so many options of pasta and different combinations that it does take some time to decide — everything just sounds so good! To start, complimentary fresh sourdough bread is served and goes great with the olive oil and vinegar condiments on the table. We got drinks to accompany our dinner — I got the Elderflower Spritz; a sweet wine cocktail and sangria. Taglierini Sorrento; the black squid ink pasta with clams, shrimp, small scallops, shrimp, minced crab meat in olive oil, garlic sauce, white wine, and topped with parsley. There was a generous amount of seafood especially the crab meat — there were bits of it every single bite! The pasta soaked up the flavor from its sauce making it incredibly flavorful alone. This may be my favorite black squid ink pasta of all time! Get it! Our fettucini feast include: Fettucini Carettiera, Fettucini Molisane, and Fettucini Shrimp with Alfredo sauce(custom-made). Fettucini Carettiera; which is a spinach green fettucini with minced sweet italian sausage and zucchini with a tomato basil based sauce. I loved the chewy, bouncy texture of the fettucini, it was just perfect! We also had the Fettuccini Molisane which was also a spinach green fettucini with diced chicken, sun dried tomatoes in a creamy white sauce. My friend complimented on how fresh tasting the sun dried tomatoes was. Lastly, the Fettucini Shrimp with Alfredo sauce was reported to be hearty and delicious as well! Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly the entire time. This spot makes a great lunch($ 10.00 lunch specials, anyone?) and dinner destination with friends or with a date. Side Note: After a happy, tummy-full dinner, we glared at my dear friend who frequents and lives walkable distance away for not sharing this spot any sooner! The nerve!

Excellent resto, service agréable, les pizzas sont bonnes et les salades excellentes et consistantes. Et en plus, les prix sont très raisonnables ! Bref, une bonne adresse pour une pause dans une journée shopping sur Broadway Ave …
