Red is the primary tattoo artist at this shop. I can’t really find the words to describe how good this guy is. Damn amazing. His line work and detail and color and shading are simply the best. I only had two smaller tattoos so I was quite nervous about jumping to a half sleeve, but I came in with a photo I found online and told him it was the idea I had in mind but after looking at all his work, I trusted him to run with it and use his creative talent from start to finish. I could tell he was real good. I split this up into two sessions. When I came in for the outline session, he showed me what he drew up by hand. I was blown away. His koi fish and inner arm work was beautiful. I knew I was in probably the best hands I could possibly be in. Red is a damn cool dude too. He knew I was quite nervous and welcomed all my questions no matter how ridiculous they were. Bottom line is, if you want some damn good work and a beautiful tat, look no further.

Came to New York last weekend and of course there’s a giant blizzard and everything’s closed. Was happy to find out Hell’s Kitchen Ink was open and Red was able to squeeze us in on a walk in basis. Just got a couple small quotes on our fingers but it was quick, well priced and professional. Glad we found this place and will definitely be coming back next time we are in NYC! Thanks Red!
