This is Hearst Corporation’s private corporate gym only open to Hearst(or Hearst-owned companies like iCrossing) full-time employees. Freelancers and contractors aren’t allowed to have a membership here because of insurance liabilities. This is a 9000 sq. gym open from morning(7am!) until 9pm with classes like yoga, spinning, ABSolution, Zen Warrior, Interval Fitness Training, Zumba and more! Other perks here include a dietary nutritionist, New York State licensed masseuse people, physical therapists, auto-lock lockers that you program with whatever 4 digit code you like and my personal fave part — A SAUNA… a sauna that is usually empty, makes me feel like I’ve got my own sauna where I work, lol. «The Club» also has all the regular amenities that gyms should have like blow dryers, flat irons, curling irons, clean showers with body cream, sun block, hair gel, hair spray, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, mouth wash, complimentary combs and hair ties, a clothes steamer, shoe shiner — etc… but how many gyms can boast providing you with WORKOUTCLOTHES!!! Yes, you read that right, I simply roll up in here with my sneakers and can borrow a T-shirt, work out tank top, sports bra, pants, shorts, socks — whoooo, all brands like Nike, Danskin, Addidas and heather gray Hanes(and Champion) shirts to ensure that Hearsties are working out in style… well, in black and gray which are timeless colors, lol. They also have juicing/lunch workshops to teach you how to be at your healthiest, fun monthly challenges so you can rack up reward points for free stuff, free fruit and health bars in the morning and they sponsor/host tons of races, corporate social sports(with ZogSports) teams, a PX-90 group, special group workouts with guest instructors and a company-wide«Bigggest Loser» contest which I plan on KILLING this year. So much positivity here with a fantastic staff, everyone is always smiling — I love it here {3.
