Was very excited to attend this spot. Because of the live band. But after the service my party received. We will never come back to this spot. Being accused of giving counterfeit money by the bartender, that never served out table, horrible drinks, and nasty chicken wings. After speaking to the manger. Im sure this spot won’t be around long.

Really cute place. intimate(small), clean. Fun food menu and great drinks. A lot of creative drinks on the menu. I went for an open Mic type of event but it sounds like there is some form of entertainment happening here often. Will be back when in the area.

I had my going away party here December the 11th. The service was great the live band and show case killed it, The drinks and apps reasonably priced. The owner Claud was a phenomenal human being. The drinks flowed, the shots flowed, the music flowed. It was a perfect night. Whenever I come back to NYC I will be sure to visit!

Such a fun bar!!! Love the bartenders and the space is amazing. A must-go for any weekend or week night party in Harlem.

I’ve been here a couple of times now — and brought friends who end up bringing friends! Harlem Nights is a super cool, chill, laid back place. They rotate out a seasonal cocktail list. Some nights there is live music, and never a cover. Lots of outlets around to charge your phone or other devices. Only food I’ve eaten is wings — they were good, though I giggled at them being served with a side of Lay’s chips! The outside(all the wood) feels a little out of sync with the inside, but if you’re in the neighborhood, definitely come by and check it out.

After a friend and fellow eliter raved about this place, I came across an article online which highlighted the fact that the owner is a former bartender and contractor who thought it was important to put outlets at the bar. That’s all it took to draw me in! As I’m always on the go and always using my phone for work(I’m a real estate agent), I love bars and restaurants that have outlets available. That way I can charge up while I take a quick break from work and patronize local spots. If you’re reading this, Mr. Claud Fatu, I thank you and I appreciate you! I visited this past weekend while they were hosting a toy drive which I found very admirable. I had a cider with a shot of whisky as per Brandon, the bartender’s suggestion. Brandon was great, very attentive and inviting, just talkative enough to not make you feel like the lame loner at the bar lol I saw plenty of upcoming events posted such as a pajama party and the stage was set up for live music. I will definitely be back to visit. FYI, happy hour is an everyday thing which is a wonderful +!

Came here for the first time on a Monday Night to check out the Live Band. Walking in I instantly fell in love with the place. It’s so inviting & upbeat ! Very diverse crowd which I loved and also the band and open mic session was great. The bartender Jenny is really sweet and interacted with everyone. I came in alone but felt as if I was with friends because every one was so friendly and mingled.

Went for the first time on a Tuesday night and it was great. I arrived to meet my friend and a musician was setting up to perform an acoustic set. The drinks were fantastic. They have my favorite Prosecco and the seasonal drinks are delicious. I had the Hansel & Gretel and it was divine. The bartender was polite and friendly. The musicians covered a nice array of songs and overall, I had a great time and it was never too loud for me to hear my friend. I will be back to taste the food and check it out on a weekend night, but overall, it’s perfect for the a neighborhood hang and the prices are reasonable.

Great live music on Friday nights. The drinks are reasonably priced and the music is usually good. Only bad thing is it’s pretty small.

Nice setup, solid drinks, and a really dependable place to hear good fun music. What else could you want?

I thought it was great! It’s small and chill but with a lively crowd and great bar service. Only two bartenders so they do what they can but they’re really friendly. Drinks are good, live music was great and I would definitely go back! Definitely not a club but it made me laugh, smile, wanna dance, and sway to the music at the same time.

Super cute place! I went here Friday night to see a friend perform and it was a great time. It’s a little smaller then I expected but it’s a great space to watch a show. My girlfriend and I got a small bite and drinks while we waited(their little flavored patties are great and so was the Harlem Sizzle). I could definitely see myself grabbing a drink here again. Drink well, Kids.

Walked past this place several times after work on my way home. Today I finally decided to go in. When I walked in around 5:30ish on a Thursday it was empty and had one person at the bar. Happy hour was going on and the bartender was informative on what was included and pricing. The bartender(Kathy) was warm and welcoming. The music was old school R&B and I loved it. I didn’t order food but I definitely plan on coming back to try it. The atmosphere was very chill and feels like a neighborhood bar. Bartender stated the have live music and a DJ at times. Even a little football for you pigskin lovers. I will see you soon Harlem Nights. Thanks for a great first time.

So far from my brief time hanging at Harlem Nights, I gotta say I’m impressed. I don’t frequent bars in Harlem all that often, but this place seems like a breath of fresh air. Live music five nights a week, tons of craft beers, an engaging mix of old and young locals, and the owner Claud is a super cool guy. They also have an array of cocktails and bar bites that should fulfill most people who saunter into their front doors. If you’re in the area, you should check it out. It’s got a super unique look so it’s hard to miss.

After the initial review of my previous experience, the bar manager and the bar owner contacted me and apologized for not being attentive. Both invited me back so that I could have a different experience and offered me a drink. I really wanted to like this place because it’s a block away from me and we are in desperate need of more fun, casual places to get a drink in this area. I went back with my same friend this past weekend. Ultimately, we sat at the bar and ordered a drink. The service was friendly and attentive. And the drinks were really good! We had two drinks each before I introduced myself to them so that they can see that, as a resident of the area, I really wanted to have a good experience. They were both very friendly and, again, apologized for my previous experience. As others have mentioned, this is a really great place in the area. It’s a cool, chill place to grab a drink and chat with the other neighbors who come in here for a fun and laid-back time. No pretense, no drama. I’ll be back.

When we first arrived there was an annoying lag in getting the bartender’s attention and that put a serious damper on my time. There were two bartenders but they each stuck to their side of the bar and ignored the other. Weird. After a while some guy who probably overheard my gripes made sure to point her in my direction. After that, the party truly began. The live act was doing a bang up job despite the place having the basic acoustics of a cement room. Sound fell flat and if you wanted to speak with your company then stepping outside or yelling were the only options. DJ comes on between acts but the draw here is the live music. This place has potential because not many places in Harlem offer similar entertainment without a cover. The bathrooms and overall location are super clean. They happen to serve food– although I would probably eat before coming here.(Not sure if it was an off day for fried Mac n cheese balls and chicken nuggets.) Also, considering that THEYAREOPENTIL4AM, one can start or end the evening here. It has everything going in it’s favor once they work out a groove. There were so many things that they did right that I actually left in high spirits and look forward to returning(even if I may just have drinks at Hyacinth’s first).

Awesome live bands Monday to Friday. And great DJ right after that. The vibe is very easy going. It is in the realm of high-end downtown or midtown bar uptown without the attitude. The crowd is the edgy young professionals type that are ready down to dance and gave a great time. The first bar of its type in Harlem for sure and I’m glad to have it here close by without having to travel far. The fact that they offer quick bites is a great plus for that moment that you don’t want to wake up hungover the next day… God knows we’ve all been there for sure!

I need bullet points to stress why I love this spot: –Came here on a Tuesday night at 1030pm and it was actually poppin’/lively –Drink called Harlem Splash was like a watermelon jolly rancher flavored cocktail… and it was undercover strong –There’s a jukebox on the wall with a variety of new and old school music –There’s an open area conducive to dancing after the Harlem Splash drink hit you and Puff Daddy/Mase/Notorious BIG is playing in the background –Friendly staff and locals –Good wings, decent mac n cheese balls –Stumbled out of there by 2am with a smile on my face thinking that was the best way to end a long work day. This is legit my spot from now on in Harlem!

Me and my roommates have been waiting months for this place to open up and it did not disappoint! We live right across the street so you can only imagine how excited we were when we heard a local bar was being opened in our mostly residential area. We came for happy hour on a Friday and were warmly greeted by Jenny, the sweetest bartender I’ve encountered so far in Harlem(and there are a lot!) We started off with some delicious speciality cocktails because the happy hour price of $ 6 was unbeatable. And they were incredible. We then ordered some appetizers, fried pickles and sweet potato fries. Both really great. We were still hungry after that and decided to order some of their meat pies. Jenny informed us that one of them was sold out and kindly offered to comp one of them because she felt bad, even though we weren’t bothered by it in the least! The rest of the night we ate, drank and laughed with other locals who were checking out the spot, and Jenny kept great care of us the entire time, even giving us some free shots along the way. Honestly, I can’t say enough about this place. 5 stars isn’t even enough! Please, please go check it out and support the local scene in Harlem if you can!

WOW. So glad my friend and I decided to stop in. There was a local live singer and a few back up guys on stage singing perfectly. I highly recommend trying one of the cocktails from the menu… We had one drink each and split the last one… Funny I can’t remember the first two but the one we split was the Harlem sizzle was totally perfect! I’ll be back!
