Happy Wok

I was craving broccoli with garlic sauce and Happy Wok (567 Chinese Asian Express on seamless) was closest to my job, so I ordered on seamless for pickup. I was impressed at the wide selection they had, more so than most Chinese places. I ended up getting broccoli and baby eggplant with garlic sauce. I left a tip because the prices were so ridiculously cheap and Andy (I believe he’s the owner) called me about ten minutes later to tell me my food was ready and to make sure that I didn’t want delivery because I had left a tip. So nice of him to check! I walked in and Andy could not have possibly been nicer. He asked me to write a review so he could have more on Unilocal and asked if I wanted an extra drink or anything. I asked if they had tea and they don’t, but he so kindly gave me some of the tea he keeps there for himself, all the way from China, so I could make some back in my office. As I walked out I thought, «shoot I never should have agreed to this, what if it’s bad and I have to write this sweet guy a bad review??» Good news, this food is awesome. Great garlic sauce, perfect broccoli that totally satisfied my craving, and beautiful baby eggplant. I rarely finish meals I order and even though this included a ton of food, it was so delicious I couldn’t help but eat the whole thing!
East Harlem has no shortage of Chinese restaurants, but Andy makes this one special. This will definitely be my go-​to from now on (and even worth the 15 minute walk from my apartment!)

Decent food for a decent price. Will order again. The wonton soup broth has flavor: so good. And the crab rangoon is outstanding!

I ordered the pad thai and roll, and it was delivered really fast and was really fresh.
I liked their brocolli, still fresh and steamed as opposed to boiled, so full of flavor… highly recommended!

Work near by and this is a good quick little spot to get typical NYC Chinese cuisine. Never had them deliver as I’m 2 blocks away. Food is exactly what you’d expect, and at a pretty good price.

It is okay. You get what you pay for. It is a good value meal. Unlike other reviewers I didn’t have any problem with delivery.

My roommate had to speak to 5 different people to effectively convey where we lived. Also their food is shiiitttayy…

My roommate had their menu on the fridge so I decided to give them a try on a Friday night ordering in.
My girlfriend and I ordered Roast Pork Lo Mein and Pepper Steak Fried Rice.
The Roast Pork Lo Mein didn’t have «mein» or noodles, but instead it was served with rice because it was a special combo platter. I also got the special wonton soup and it really wasn’t all that great.
My pepper steak tasted OK but nothing special. It does come w/​a free pepsi cuz our order was over $ 10. I have to say that overall it was a little disappointing, but not terrible if you’re just looking for some quick chinese food.
