I had a bad experience trying to rent my apartment through Halstead. I worked with Michael D and while I was expecting a partnership (he gets paid when my apt is rented, so we both wanted the same thing), he offered no value or guidance and approached the entire process with a dismissive attitude (putting up open houses only 12 hours in advance, lack of interest, generic listing commentary and pictures). 2 months were wasted where my apartment could have been rented.
Do yourself a favor, if you have a little time put it up on
and show it yourself. After taking matters into my own hands I placed it on a Wednesday and at the Sunday open house 40 people attended and tried to outbid each other. Also you can ask for a bit more per month since the renter does not have to pay the outrageous broker fee.

I love the interactive display on the outside of Halstead’s office on the upper west side! All of the brokers I met with there were extremely helpful, pleasant and friendly. Although I have yet to move, I have referred many friends to agent Michael Correia. They each have raved about their wonderful experiences in working with an agent who truly cares and de-​stresses the moving process (whether buying, selling or renting). 5 stars!
